but you aren't too scared to come back and chat you are chatting now...:rotfl:when you posted what you did, I have to admit I blushed and thought how insensitive are we.....but as you say its an open forum, you had as much right to post your thoughts as anyone else. I like to think we are all such good friends that we can understand when someone is hurting and just give em a hug and say welcome back when they feel ready to come back....:D

Quirky - we only hit the bad men with spades and Sally's allottment must be full by now.

Finally coaxed the fire into life so can turn the heating off - my skin is beginning to dry out.

Tonight I have fillet steak (gift :D) and jacket spud. I will make a stilton sauce and try to muster some frozen veg from somewhere.

On the other hand a couple of biscuits would be easier.

I am very bored so I hope they'll be some peeps about tonight.

I'll be about Bookie, have nothing exciting planned, well apart from working out what food I can buy with this weeks shopping money which is about £18 :rotfl:

    Hi Quirky

    Yay for Becky...another good race!

Sally, I would just fall asleep at home....he hates sat night tv - would never watch x factor or anything like that....he doesn't go out at all during the week, he just sits in his B&B bedroom, working on his own. I don't suppose 1 night a week out is too much to ask...:rotfl:its not his fault I have a mild form of narcolepsy:rotfl:

I only really fall asleep if its really late or the movie is carp....

I agree Becky, yesterday running on the snow/ice was absolutely fine and didn't slip or wobble at all. Today walking into town nearly came a cropper 3 or 4 times!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    That's good Sally.

    £18 - that's a lot! :rotfl:
Filling and hearty needed - shepherd's pie? I got a big chicken for £5 yesterday (with Mum's cc!) - that would do the 3 of you a roast then a stir fry thing maybe?
