Hi Quirky.....nice to see you again...I have to say sorry about the spade v husband jokes....I hope you know that non of us really mean it.....honestly.....:o it is just a way of getting our frustration with our men over to other people.....

    ....

Hello lovely Sammy, you have nothing to apologise for and neither does anybody else, if anybody it should be me apologising for taking "things" out on the very people who have loved, supported and always been there for me. This is an open forum and people can say what they like, I was lurking when it all happened and should have just read and carried on, it just hit a nerve, but it was my nerve that was hit through no fault of anybody else. Sh*t happens, and it did, big time, but why should that stop people from having a laugh - it shouldn't have done and I should have apologised straight away. I knew nobody meant to hurt me, I really do. If only I had felt that I could join in the chat myself and not shut myself away, it would never have happened and I would have taken it just as it was meant but that's what happens when you are too scared to come back and chat - just like now.............but that's my problem and nobody else's...................

sammy, he's agreed not to go down the pub on days that start with T (childish, but he'll remember) and we're going to alternate Friday and Saturday every week to go down the pub. Does anyone know any healthy-ish Chinese food? Am not having a started, but may have satay chicken and boiled rice, as that sounds good. I'm startingto not be able ot eat as much as I used to, and I'm starting to feel full, which is amazing as on these pills I never have before.

Might mention that idea of not going to the pub to my DD's OH.....:rotfl:

Satay chicken and boiled rice sounds quite healthy.....beef and mushroom and boiled rice is my healthy choice....

but you aren't too scared to come back and chat you are chatting now...:rotfl:when you posted what you did, I have to admit I blushed and thought how insensitive are we.....but as you say its an open forum, you had as much right to post your thoughts as anyone else. I like to think we are all such good friends that we can understand when someone is hurting and just give em a hug and say welcome back when they feel ready to come back....:D

  • Quirky - we only hit the bad men with spades and Sally's allottment must be full by now.

Finally coaxed the fire into life so can turn the heating off - my skin is beginning to dry out.

Tonight I have fillet steak (gift :D) and jacket spud. I will make a stilton sauce and try to muster some frozen veg from somewhere.

On the other hand a couple of biscuits would be easier.

I am very bored so I hope they'll be some peeps about tonight.
