I was eating my sandwiches at work the other day when... CRUNCH... came across a small stone in the bread. Luckily I didn't break my teeth but can I complain as I don't know how to prove it was actually in the bread?
Thank you to all who post comps and good luck to all who enter :j

just say it most companys wont ask you to prove something like that because they dont want to make the problem worse incase you are telling the truth!

Where was the sandwich from?your less likely to get anywhere!!!!
If it was a sandwich shop

Hi Kim_ley, no it was a homemade sandwich with bread from a loaf from Tesco. Also should I complain to Tesco or the manufacturer?

oh right well how do you know it was in the bread or if it got in there when you made the sandwich? You would be better saying you made toast or something? you should initially go to tesco who may pass you to manufacture!

As if you say you made a sandwich they will say how do you know it was in bread and not filling etc...

  • My mum and I were in Marks and Spencer on a retail park (so there wasn't really anywhere else within walking distance to eat). We went to the cafe for hot chocolate and a cake, had to queue for about 20 minutes and then when we finally got our hot chocolates, the member of staff just plonked them down so the hot chocolate and cream slopped all over the sides and into the saucers making a right mess. We complained and they paid for everything we bought in the cafe! :)

P.S. Hi everyone, I'm new here, so erm... yeah.... hi! :o

might sound a little odd... but has anyone ever complained about clearblue pregnancy tests?

yes and well worth it as they charge enough for the news (whether it be good or bad news)

Complain me dear....I did and I got a replacement one sent straight away!

I was really annoyed when it was faulty...mean't me and my O.H had to wait.....

They ask you to send back the faulty one, give the numer etc wen you call up...there's a number on it...call it and get your replacement!

    Good luck....hope it's what you want?! x

Not a complaint but I contacted Nivea to ask if they could send me some suncream samples. A week or two later a jiffy bag arrived containing 3 small bottles (30ml) and 2 sachets of suncream, fantastic - big thumbs up to Nivea.

I contacted them through their website.

I e-mailed Maybelline asking if they had discontinued a certain make-up product of theirs that I use religiously, as I can't find it any more and it seems to have been replaced with a product which is double the price. They sent me a letter with a £3 voucher for any Maybelline product!

Also sent a letter about some fruit polos I had and one was really strange looking. Sent it in and asked what it was, not really complaining though. They sent me a letter explaining it was burnt sugar and a cheque for about £4 (they amount that they assumed would be about 10 times what I paid for the tube of sweets). All in all, good response!
    Newbie, but long-time lurker :heart2:
