very annoyed... bought phone today in southampton home store, then went to tower park in poole to return it... wouldn't let me return without receipt.. nor exchange, unless for similar value... nor even a giftcard, which is weird because i've had giftcards out of electrical returns before!
going to ring customer services in dundee tomorrow to ask them.
I am confused if you bought the phone today surely you would have receipt ?Play nice  Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get me.:j0 -
What happens if you simply take the phone back? Whenever I've returned stuff they never removed points! Also why not buy the cheapest and then sell it to Mazuma or similar to increase the profit further? In the red at LBM £25,703 on 20/01/10Debt as at 20/07/10 £25012Target debt free date 05/01/14Crazy Clothes Challenger 139 = 8/100PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT0

After the confusion of buying early I popped into my local store and mentioned that I see the SELs have 1000 points on them but the leaflet said they would be added later. So I asked which was it, to my delight the lovely girl behind the desk said can I see yiur clubcard a moment, 10 seconds later a nice 2000 points bonus to my totalThe poinmts will not show on anyones receipt. They will be added manually by Tesco on the next statement in february. Absolutely no point in going back into the store as they will not add them there. Just keep a copy of the leaflet and double check when your statement comes in.
I am expecting an extra 3500 points on mine from 3 pre-order Cd's and 2 mobiles, time will tell, I do half expect to be challenging Tesco in feb.
and I have my 2 £10 credits
not sure about other situations but it's all down to how you ask.
I wonder if HO will miss the 2000 and add them on again

if i took the phone back in with the receipt, the points are refunded from your clubcard, as well as your money!0 -

So you basically just want your 1000 points for absolutely nothing? It doesn't work like that..... at least those of us who are buying these are putting in a bit of genuine effort e.g ebay etc.0 -

yeah... pretty much...
might just do tesco mobile recycle and get another 200 points for it!0 -
I had some questions.
I already had put 2 on my clubcard, one for me, and one for a friend.
Now, my uncle (who has no clue about phones) has seen it and asked me to get him one.
So, what is the limits? If it says 2 per customer, would I lose all the points gained if I bought a third?
Also, I bought the phone primarily for overseas use as I don't want to carry an expensive handset where it might be lost. I know the phone is locked to other UK networks, but does it work overseas? If not, where is the best place to get it unlocked?0 -
i've just bought the £24.00 phone for my mum her last one blew up

I have opted to receive my clubcard vouchers as e-coupons., This will be fine for converting them to airmiles right?0

The 'e-coupons' option is only for the 'extra points on items' vouchers that come with the normal CC vouchers.
So no matter what you choose, you will be able to use the CC vouchers towards airmiles by entering their 12 digit alphanumeric codes online on the deals order pages..
