Also curious about this. While this is a pretty sweet deals pointswise, it would even better if the phones came unlocked, off course. TIA0 -

As has been posted quite a few times...... Tesco mobiles are locked. You'll either need to take it your local chappie.....or there is talk that Tesco will do it after x days and £x top ups.0

According to an e mail I received, I have until the 24th Jan and then my points will be converted into vouchers. I am hoping that the vouchers will be sent before the 30 day return on the phones, so if I don't get the points awarded because of buying too many, then I can take the phones back for refund;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Tesco have never been known to remove points from deals before (unlike companys like littlewoods claiming back vouchers), I don't think they'd want the bad publicity. The T&C's for phones is max 5 per address per month & max one phone per customer per purchase, can't find anything online regarding the 1000 points.
Clubcard T&C's do state though
on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel Clubcard cards, key fobs or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Tesco Clubcard scheme. Reasonable grounds include (i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme
Although I don't think buying more than one phone would be abuse, unless you went into silly numbers (10+). One example would be a someone who collects receipts from the floor & goes to customer services to get points added from non clubcard purchases (there was a story in the news about this a couple of years ago).
The roast beef deal 4 years ago was hammered, some had cheap holidays from it, but everyone received there points.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -

Argh this has hit the newsletter! At least Martin waited a week

Still annoying how it's classed as a 'loophole' and you don't actually make 'profit'. Points aren't worth 4x as much on Cineworld tickets for example!0 -
If anyone bagged a phone early on & managed to get £10 free credit.......and is at loss as to what to do with that credit (or perhaps you have an old sim with credit lying around) ...perhaps this may be useful :
http://www.dec.org.uk/donate_now/Text: Text “GIVE” to 70077 to donate £5 to the DEC for the Haiti earthquake appeal. You pay £5 plus your standard network SMS charge
You can donate £5 from your credit. Unfortunately you need £5.10 for each as you pay for the text too. You can even add gift aid to your donation by filling out a simple form on the website.0 -
