  • I managed to sell my Nokia 1208 on ebay. The person who bought it seems to have bought 30 other 1208's. I cannot figure out why. Any Ideas? There are 172 Nokia 1208's from Tesco Mobile on ebay today.

Could be unlocking them & selling them abroad. Not all networks abroad subsidize phones like in the UK.

Fonebank are paying £5 and you get quidco too. First time user gets £3 then it's £1.50 each time after. So £8 on first, £6.50 on second which is quite reasonable. Plus as they only take phone and battery it leave you potentially with the sim, and charger which can be sold.

We opted for this as it's a lot easier than ebay (No problems with buyers being a*holes) and you what you get is what you get- no fees etc.

Dial 282 to activate - my top up was confirmed in about 24 hours.

Fonebank gives excellent service, cheques usually received within a few days of posting phones.

No, only 1 phone per transaction on Tesco Direct or your order will be cancelled.

Spot on. And you'll get the 'card payment processing error' speil which is just their stupid way of saying you've gone over your order limit.

    But...its 1 mobile per day..

So once past midnight, you can order 1 more again for that address (provided you haven't exceed the 5 per month, per household policy)

If you want more than 1 in one order, you have to order to another address (partners/mums/dads etc) ;)
