My hubby was incensed by this so he sent an email complaint to Tesco CS, some 8 hours later and with no reply he phoned up Tesco CS. They said that bascially there is a policy BUT each store sets their own rules and can take as many vouchers or as little as they like. He checked with his Supervisor and apologised and said that if more people phoned up and complained that the policy would be looked at and would become clearer and consistent. The complaint was logged with them and with my local store and hubby never did receive a response to his email.
I will try using vouchers again in the near future, but will be cautious and go at different times;
Violetta, thanks for your reply - Asdas is also hit and miss with me, sometimes they will not take any, occasionally it is the 3 voucher rule. I like Tescos because we are saving for MFI vouchers, checking my one clubcard balance today it is now on 65,500 points which is equivalent to £262.00 to spend at MFI and I still have several weeks to go before the points are converted in August.I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Wouldn't that be equivelent to 2620 pounds? How have u managed to get 65,500 points, or did u mean 6,500? Let me in on the secret!!0 -
Hello Dave, yes you spotted the typo - my balance is 6500 which is £260 to spend at MFI - I have several clubcards so get extra vouchers.

Thank you Beanz - it did get me down, but hubby bless came up trumps, leaving a red rose and choccies for me this morning when I woke up and arranging at lunch time to take me out for a lovely meal.
It was a nice treat and my incident with Tescos has been forgotten. I do have some vouchers which expire on 2/7 so may visit a different Tesco tomorrow where I won't be recognised !
Also, received my first mystery shopping assignment so really looking forward to that in one week's time.
We had a Safeway which was turned into a Waitrose, unfortunately they do not accept vouchers.
