Daily Mail Today
Page 8 Is A Voucher Worth 50 P For The You Magazine.
Hth0 -
Metro has £1.70 off Marie Claire magazine and 50p off you magazine (with bar code) - not bad for a free paper0
-
Times has the same coupon as yesterday £1.20 off Easy Living mag but can only be used at sains/waitrose/wh smiths and independent outlets
page 23 of T2 supplement
but the mag does have a free passport cover inside so may be worth using some of those whsmiths points for.0 -
Can I just ask I have a few of the money off tokens from the mail in the past few days. I feel a bit nervous about using a lot of them at the one time in tesco. Could I use the self scan. Many thanks0

You could, only be aware that some stores self scan machines are programmed to ask for authorisation from the SA after a number of coupons / amount off have/has gone through.
That number differs to what the individual store decidesThere is no need to run outside
For better seeing,
Nor to peer from a window.
Rather abide at the center of your being.

I would definitely go to a till, do a small test shop first, choose a nice young lad. Once he tells you the total, ask him if he can scan any of your coupons please? If he says 'have you bought the items?' (they don't usually ask though, they know the score) just smile confidently say 'no I just wondered how many you can take off my shopping if I don't buy the items?'.
Once you have done this once and seen that it it is OK with cashiers you will never feel nervous again. IMO only mature lady cashiers look at you like you are mad to ask, so make sure you pick your till lad (go round an aisle again as if you've forgotten something, if need be).
I find this much less embarrassing than trying to stuff coupons in a self-scan, which gets stuck then you have to call for help when you are feeling flustered. I tried this once and felt awful/guilty, also I think my local store takes less coupons on self-scan than cashiers will (partly due to abuse, that is people trying to use out-of-date coupons on the s-s that they wouldn't try with a cashier).
Don't feel nervous, young lads will often scan many coupons at once and if he says 'only 3 coupons' have your highest value (or closest to expiry) ones already sorted at the front of your wad!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

yep,in London...any of the underground stations, usually near the exits. However most of the Metro's will have gone by now....its a free early morning paper and it disappears like hot cakes! But, you never know, you might manage to find one if you visit a station that is less busy than others.
Btw, the You Magazine 50p-off voucher has been in the Metro all this week; also there is a Free L'oreal haircolouring voucher at the back:eek: , near to the ad's for sample sales (actually, that was in yesterday's Metro - also the Free Evening Standard Lite - so I'm guessing it's in todays as well. Please correct me if i'm wrong
)
:j:j Please blow me a kiss if I have helped you.:j :j

Oh dear, felt tired last night so didn't do any sarnies for work, decided to pop into Tescos and get some essentials before work. Spent around £15.00 using 2 till spill vouchers which were due to expire handed over my vouchers and the SA refused them and she quickly called over the supervisor who said I had a huge cheek to ask for money off for things I had not bought, she refused to accept the 3 vouchers I had handed over and felt that she will now have my cards marked for the future. What irritates me is that previously vouchers have been accepted and I felt fine doing it, now I feel like they will be watching me like a hawk - it was a rather unpleasant experience this morning with lots of people watching.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
