Hi Welshy,

Keep your chin up. I had a similar experience a couple of months ago when I was using coupons from another store in Tesco. I was told by a Supervisor that they did not accept them. I now no longer use coupons when that particular supervisor is on duty - and most of my time I shop elsewhere.

Might be worth trying elsewhere and keep your head down a bit.

hugs!!! yikes, trés embarassing! i think the super went a bit OTT by marking your cards, geez. Go to go to another Tesco's for a while and let this lot forget about ya Want to stay below their radar (especially that super) StealthyWelshy!:p

Metro is also available in other cities, Cardiff for example they are available all day, either at the bus station, or train station, and they hand them out in the streets in the mornings. When there are coupons I always try and get more than one copy, but I'm back in my homw town of Cambridge at the moment so really annoyed!

Not sure that she did physically mark her cards, I'm sure that Welshy would have something to say about that!

Sorry, I didn't actually know that. I assumed that the Metro was just for us fantastic Londoners, never thought they'd have one in Wales of all places ;) lmao kidding

Nah, I only thought it was available in London till I moved to Cardiff and was really excited when I got on the bus to Uni and found a rack full of them in the MIDDLE of the day. In London used to scrounge one off the back of a tube seat or something equally degrading!

lol ok ok, total bimbo here...I don't even know what 'marking her cards' actually means....guess I assumed it just meant that she made a note of welshy's cc number so that a flag goes up every time she uses it in Tesco's. I think that even that is WAY OTT!

Feeling better now, thanks. just sent Rambler a PM - and sure he will offer the appropriate sympathy and advice.

Ha Ha Angelundercover - very funny Wales has many things, including the Metro, it has lots to offer even TWO potential Big Brother winners - cough, cough, change subject very quickly.

As for marking my cards, NO not literally but in the sense that they will recognise me whenever I go to the tills again. The other Tescos around here are not coupon friendly either so will have to time my visits differently.

Hey they would have a job marking my cards - I have FOUR Tesco clubcards on the go anyway ! (not all mine but members of my family) bye for now Welshy x
