Help please with cancelling orange mobile contract

make a complaint to P4U regarding them giving you a contract in the first place and chase the £50 you spent on apps from them, btw if the phone was supplied by P4U surely you should be returning the handset to them rather than Orange

You're 17 and you've found £50 to spend on apps? Plus the money for an iPhone contract? The dole must pay well these days.

If you don't return the phone Orange will take legal action to recover the cost, you'll have a mark against your credit file, and your parents will tell you off for being a naughty boy

I am quite shocked and confused as to how they got you onto a contract. When you process a contract at p4u, it comes up with a box asking you to put DOB in. It never lets someone under 18 process any further and I don't think there is any way of getting around it!

Not to be rude but why apply for it if you know it is against the law? You can't just blame p4u, you knew exactly what you were doing if you know that you need to be 18!

You will have to send the phone back so don't make things worse for yourself by not sending it.
