  • Just to say that I've had my rewards transferred to valued opinions as well. I had the first e-mail to say they were closing, and thought it was £4.50 lost. I then had a second e-mail to say according to our records, your child is too old for you to still be a member, but why don't you join valued opinions. As I was already a member, I asked to transfer over, and they've done this with no problems..

Fingers crossed they are able to do this for everyone x

A huge thank you to all posters xx
  • As a new mum I signed up to Mum's Opinions (now 'Word of Mum panel) a survey site promising payment for my views on topics such as baby food, nappies and formula. My son Jacob is now 1 year old and I had only gained £6.50 for the 10 surveys completed. I applied for every survey available but you don't always qualify.

I received an email last week giving me 30 days notice as Mum's Opinions (now 'Word of Mum panel) is closing down. I was told that any unclaimed credit would be lost. I tried to claim the £6.50 I earned but I am unable to as the minimum claim is £10. Obviously I won't be able to complete more surevys in the next 30 days to qualify for the minimum payment. I emailed them to express my disappointment but have not received a response.
I am surprised that Bounty are lending their name to such a company who clearly exploit those completing surveys.

    Anyone else had problems?

I signed up for the Word of Mum panel over a week ago and just had my first survey. Took forever to go through and at the very end some time words came up saying the panel quota was already full. I take it I won't get anything for that and after hearing how they operate, I don't think I'll be wasting more of my time

:mad:Absolutely disgusting - the company behind it, Research Now, should be made accountable for this. Hopefully their name will be made mud if they don't sort it out.

Everyone please read the T&Cs, because the clause 4 they refer to doesn't mention Mum's Opinions, but rather Valued Opinions. I've therefore sent them the following (deliberately vague) reply... perhaps a mass response of the same would get a bit more action...

    Hi again,

Unfortunately your T&Cs do not apply, as it refers to the Valued Opinions panel. It specifically says that you can close my account and not pay me my money if it is done in accordance with Clause 4, however Clause 4 relates to a different account which is not being closed. Therefore I am fully entitled to receive the monies oweing to me.

Please can you transfer the balance to my Valued Opinions panel instead?

    Thank you.

I am a member of Valued Opinions site too. They have not offered to transfer over the points. If they are the same company surely this is possible.

Will use your letter to quote that their Terms and Conditions do not apply. I have £8.50. It's the principle. Up for a Facebook group too whoever suggested that.
