If any Londoners are able to get to Lush at South Molton Street (1 minute walk from Bond Street tube) today or tomorrow you'll get a fantastic bargain
They're having a 'Butterball party' this weekend whereby if you buy any two products from a certain selection ( were originally two 'special' products brought in just for the party but only the Butterball ballistics @2.25 and Ex Factor ballistics @1.95 left now) you'll get a 'goodie bag' containing the whole Head, shoulders, knees and toes kit! There was even a choice of fresh face masks which come with the kit when I was there this lunchtime.
So - spend as little as 3.90 and come away with almost 20.00 of goodies

I must have had a miserable SA last week at merry hill then, I asked for a sample of soap for my son to save me hacking at mine all the time and they said dont get them now! I thought, just go and cut me a bit then!! Although, I suppose we all have our off days....0 -

Lush samples vary completely not only shop to shop but SA to SA, and even a SA that would normally give samples will not when a certain manager is in that day as that manager says not to.. It's completely hit and miss.
I've found that going in often and having a chat whilst buying means you know each SA so even if you go in and only buy one thing if you ask for a sample they know you're not just doing it because it's free, you're genuinely interested.
Last time I was in I stocked up on Comforter and the limited edition Magic Mushroom and got talking about SLS so I got fairly large samples of all 3 SLS-free soaps they do and then an amazing freebie which I'm not going to post here in case it gets the SA in trouble, but trust me I was beaming all the way home.:rotfl:
.... I think the key is to go in with a smile and appear genuinely interested and don't feel disheartened if you get shot down.0 -

I'd agree with that. I never ever had a Lush freebie (and I shop a few times a year) until late last year when I was trying out their moisturisers. I bought one on recommendation of an SA and took it home- it gave me spots! I went back to my old cream till the spots died down, went back to the store and asked for a sample of another cream as I liked the idea of a Lush moisturiser but didn't want to pay even more for the same result. And yes, the sample gave me spots too!
So I went back a final time to say it had given me spots and moreover at this point I just wanted to know what had caused the cream to clog my skin (turns out its coco butter if anyones interested) they then GAVE me a replacement cream which so far has been perfect- no spots, nicely moistuirsed skin and very happy customer!
I think had I just asked for a sample at the till point I'd not have got one seeing as I have shopped there in the past and never been offered anything ever.0 -
Anyone any idea's what gonna happen to the Valentines day items? Will they be reduced or be part of grab bags?0
