Great start to my morning, kids schools are open today, Elli had to be in at 9.30 but the school is in easy walking distance so he trekked off in his wellies.
Too far to walk with Jess to her school so I tried my car (which is useless in snow)
    -wouldn't budge!

Tried hubby's car because he hiked to work again in his trusty spikes.
    - slipped against gate post and the broken gate bracket went straight through the wall of the tyre and burst the fri88in thing
So now it's stuck out into the road, I can't move it without the help of some blokes pushing it away from the gate post because if it slips again the bracket will damage the actual car.

So Jess gets another day off  phoned school and it seems that not many have made it in.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

ooh, linda hope some nice men appear soon to push the car back onto the drive. Relieved it wasn't much worse and that you are both ok.

Just been sledging with DD2, my god it was cold on the cliffs.....lots of big snow clouds banked up over France so will imagine we'll get them back when the tide changes.

Linda - Sounds nasty! Hope you can get it sorted.

morning all. Asda have cancelled my re-scheduled order from the cancelled one yesterday  Has the rest of the country and all the supermarkets stopped delivering? Poole has probably had some of the least snow in the UK (3 hours total for the winter yesterday morning!) and the town has gone into meltdown.

To be fair though I won't be going anywhere, the side roads are icy and as I have the balance of a baby elephant and and my ski slope drive has 'developed' even further overnight I will be staying in again!

OH was made to walk three miles to work, in trainers and there's no customers. Sometimes I despair at that place.
