Morning all.
Is it very bad that I have a slight sense of relief to be home alone for the first time in more than 4 weeks?:o26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

lucifa I would love to be home alone today! I am off work but was supposed to be at uni - but the weather has meant it has been cancelled - I need to do my assignment instead but have 4 kids in the house as all schools here are off! Not sure how much I will get done but have to try!0

Hello stuck in with same foot of snow we had yesterday no change! Don't have a telly so was surprised to hear there is a bb on, thought it had been axed? Working from home today as much as possible given I have only had one day at new job!!
Snow in garden was over my knees yesterday. Cats hated it as it was bigger than them but my rabbits loved it out digging holes :-) very pretty here out in the sticks but getting bored with it - want to be able to drive safely .
All of us stuck in will be saving lots of money as unable to spend! XSOA

Morning all
Just icy here on the bits they havent gritted (i.e. the edges of pavements) but otherwise fine
Sammy - my two ps worth - often when you are stiff/sore after exercise the best thing is more exercise otherwise you end up with the day after the day after symdrome - known to scientists as DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness)...
Yesterday I was very stiff after Tuesday run so I went out and did 10k very slowly and today I feel much better because I got all the waste products that were building up moving again.
The problem is when you are starting out that there is only one intensity - painful so it can be difficult to slow down enough to have the desired effect, but after two to three weeks you shouldnt feel any stiffness until you try to up the pace/and or distance again
Am going to buy that skirt too0 -
Thanks Sammy and Becky. Will maybe do a gentle treadie or cross trainer today.
I'm still walking like John Wayne, maybe walking in thick snow uses muscles that arent used when walking normallyIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

It does indeed Spud - thats why if you cant go out running in the snow, walking is almost as good0

I'm not going anywhere... but starting to experience that 'cabin fever' feeling!Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
