He bought the Sat Nav, the maps were pre-installed, first map update was free and he just uses it now without anymore daily cost.
If he wants to update the maps in future he will have to pay (fair enough)0 -
Nokia maps are chargable, Only orange will include the cost of Nokia Maps/Orange maps in certain priceplans and its listed as such (It says you MAY get charged 1-8p data fee if you don't have inclusive data)
Buying a satnav unit is different to running Nokia maps0 -
you should get a base amount if texts which can be used when roaming (1 roaming sms = 4 uk sms) and for mms (1 mms = 4 sms)
my OH has unlimited texts but has a base allowance (excluding unlimited) of 500
maybe try and view your account online or ask o2 cust service how many texts you get as part of the package excluding unlimited0 -
Customer services/Retentions said I can have 75 mins n 125 texts only with the Nokia 5800 for £15 or ask the shop for a better deal or hand back the phone/ end new upgrade contract.
They said they may be able to offer a better deal once back to old contract
I handed back the phone at the store BUT the store said him and his colleague have unlimited texts and get FREE MMS and they have never been told any different!!0 -
And how much do they pay - maybe it is a perk of their job?We all evolve - get on with it0
-
Maybe the priceplan the staff are on are a staff tariff? So they get a different allowance

Couldn't you add an MMS bundle/bolt on?0 -
I can't see any MMS bolt on avail.
Anyway I will have to wait for the contract to revert back to 200 / 200 then decide (shop said 48 hours!!) Funny how I have already paid for 200 / 200 until 27/01/10, on upgrade I immediately went down to 100 mins pro-rata until 27th Jan 2010.
Every upgrade I get a probs with overlapping discounted tariffs (old/upgrade), pro-rata allowances, last time they never lifted my pending termination after offering a good upgrade, lost my service and rec'd a £400 + bill!!! Maybe I should leave for good!!!!0 -

Retentions say with a higher priced tariff you get ?? mins ?? texts and a choice of bolt on say Unlimited Texts allowing you to use the ?? texts for MMS and the unl for normal texting. This confuses the staff and consumers!!!
I got offered a £16 200 mins/ul 02-02 calls/400 text 24 mth and a N6303 / SE w395 or £20 for a N5800 / N6700
or 300 mins/U o2 calls/600 txt £15 or 150 mins / 300 text £10 30 day sim only.
I've opted for the 150 mins and 300 texts for £10 (online to off line deal) to keep my bill level0
