Dell inspiron 6000.. had it for just over 3 months (refurbished from dell as good as knew)
havin some probs now... mouse pad aint movin smoothly like it should...
any ideas?

Have you had a look in Control panel -> mouse, and looked at the settings in there? You can make it smoother and quickerI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Clean it and reseat the cable on the motherboard?

Unresponsive.. i.e while i move my finger across it the icon will stutter saying my fingers going on and off the pad and obviously the mouse would jitter and not work properly
Ive never opened up a lappy.. tis dell inspiron 6000 so not too confident with that...
