Although it's true that ONCE IN PLACE, CPS and Broadband do not conflict - do ONE THING AT A TIME, seriously. Get the line installed, then CPS the calls to Primus, then apply for broadband. The amount of delayed orders I've seen where people have tried to order more than one new product at a time - the gateway can't handle it and will spit back an "open orders exist against this line, please resubmit after x/x/x" error message and won't allow your service provider to resubmit the order for up to 3 weeks.
Clark1982 - who are BT Wholesale? I think you'll find they're called Openreach now, sir.
Sorry your wrong, Openreach is NOT BT Wholesale! Openreach is a seperate BT group buisness, which is a seperate devision from BT Wholesale. Openreach are the engineers that do the work for wholesale, but still seperate devisions. I suggest you update yourself with the information on the offical openreach website ha!The views expressed on this website, be they in text, pictures or sound, are my own personal views. Do you feel better about yourself now?
I'm not even going to bother arguing with someone who knows not the difference between "your", the posessive form of "you" used as a modifier before a noun and "you're" - a contraction of "you are".
I'm even less likely to listen to anyone who wasn't taught how to spell "SEPARATE" when they were at first school. I am of course flattering you by supposing you have left first school.
For the record, the FORMER part of BT Wholesale we were discussing (which is now a seperate (sic) entity known as Openreach) are responsible for all things concerning provisioning; i.e. the installation of lines and the activation of line services and broadband. BT Wholesale sell, amongst other things, wholesale calls and ongoing broadband services.
Ergo, within the context of this conversation, Openreach are the organisation in question, not BT Wholesale.
Now drink your milk like a good boy and go to bed.
the fact is that Openreach was formed with people from BT Retail and BT Wholesale. The majority being from Retail. BT Retail and Wholesale exist in their own right with different roles to pre-Openreach.
please keep up0 -

Yes maybe my spelling is not that great, that doesn't mean I'm not educated!
The hole point of the matter is, you said: who are BT Wholesale? I think you'll
find they're called Openreach now, sir.
I said: you are wrong Openreach are a seperate company.
I was correct, you were wrong, and your a bad looser!....Openreach do the installation work, yes they also activate broadband services, but the Broadband is bought from BT Wholesale. Like the other poster says, you were wrong, just accept it as a learning experience.

You know, ripping someone apart for not being able to spell perfectly doesn't make your point any more valid. In fact, it just makes you look nasty, bitter and downright rude.Comping wins this month: 2 x business class flights anywhere we like | Horse vitamins (!) | New kettle | Motorcycling prints | Signed LPs | Thanks to all!0

I would just like to take a moment to formally apologise both to deefadog and clark1982.
firstly for ruining deefadog's thread with my outburst and secondly to clark1982 for being unnecessarily rude.
there is no excuse for my behaviour; I was in a particularly bad mood and took it out on a complete stranger. totally unacceptable. I am sorry I reacted so irrationally, it is quite out of character for me to behave in such a way
I am also sorry to anyone who's read this thread and become annoyed in some way as a result of my post. I am genuinely remorseful for having introduced a negative element to your day.
It won't happen again.Fasthosts ruined my life0 -

Best post in the thread. Takes some bottle to do it and you've gone way back up in my estimation. :T:beer:0
