Free o2 Premium Broadband :)

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but thought I'd share a good deal on broadband.

o2 is currently offering two months free for new 12 month contracts on all their broadband services, plus the regular discount for o2 customers. Topcashback.co.uk is also offering additional cashback.

I just ordered premium broadband at £10p/m, a total of £120 for the year. After taking £100 cashback from topcashback and the two months free deal from o2, it works out costing absolutely nothing for the year!

And they even give you a free router :)

There have been varying free months and generous cashbacks on O2 BB for some time now but it doesn't hurt to point it out every so often.

One thing about the router - it isn't free - it is a loan which you have to send back should you terminate the contract so if you use a different one make sure you keep the O2 one and the packaging.

Apart from the pricing O2 LLU (not the Access product) takes some beating too. I've had no problems over the past year although apparently there have been some DNS problems recently (fixable by using OpenDNS or my new favourite - Google DNS)
  • That's pretty cool offer...........
  • I am signing upto o2 premium as soon as I get my MAC code off Orange. Asked for it yesterday via email but hasn't come yet. Giving them the 5 working days they have to send it then will be back on the phone. Just hope it comes before the cash back offer ends as I need the £100 to cover the cost of the livebox I owe orange (never used it and haven't a clue what happened to it so they will be charging me £100).

well apparently they only offer the free 2 months for switching not for brand new customers like me. I have never had BB set up at home. I could only get that 2 month free if I were to sign up through their customer service. But I prefer the 100 pounds cash back... hehehe...

I'm a brand new customer of O2 BB and have just signed up to the standard home package. First 2 months free so £7.50pm for 10 months. £75 cashback from Quidco and O2 BB has cost me absolutely nothing for a whole year.

I know, it's a new deal from Jan, I just missed out by a day. But they said I could cancel the contact and sign up again etc... too much trouble for 20 pounds... nevermind...

I am looking at doing this with two telephone lines, one at home and one at my office. Will I be able to claim the offer for each line, as it is going to the same person? I will be looking at the pro broadband package on both accounts...what is the best deal to go with?

I have seen a Quidco offer, and topcashback.co.uk mentioned on here. I haven't ever used a cashback site before so I'm a bit baffled with it!

Finally...I am looking for a new mobile phone as well, if I got one via O2, would I still qualify for all the offers and reduced rental per month? Many thanks :)

    £100?

I wouldnt pay that - seems like they would be attempting to rip you off there

Pretty sure there must be a law that would cover that?

Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

    :T
  • I got my mac code yesterday and signed up via topcashback to o2 using the link on there. The thing is there is no sign of anything being tracked on there yet, should there be now? I signed upto the premium package with o2 (will be connected next Friday) and should get £100 cashback if it's tracked (which it should have).

I think it's a rip off too especially as you can buy them for about £30. Don't know where they get the £100 from?
