Lots of snow here in Colchester and still snowing. Luckily I was working from home today anyway, but my daughter has had to go in to work, so worried about her getting home!

Ta Spud, was up your way on Sunday. I think that the Council had forgotten to grit the side roads as I came up off of the M60 and thought I was going to go straight through the lights on the snowy A62 and back on to the Mway! Not funny with 40 tonnes and definitely a brown-trouser moment!

It's bad Pepe, I think the council have forgotten to grit most places and the gritters are now probably unable to get to the side roads

Perfect timing for you to be off for a few weeks, stay home nice and safe xx

Sadie was loving the snow last night when it was up to her belly ( about 1 1/2inches!) and was whizzing around the garden scooping it up and barking at it.
Now its at shoulder height , and above, she has changed her mind cos it sticks to her fur in little balls! Rolo goes crazy in it, he boings along as if on springs.

oh bless them, it must be so great to be a dog :D

Just had to go out to de-snow the Sky dish ( a tennis ball works well!) and it's 15" deep in back garden. Cat was NOT impressed,he jumped out the window, and sunk up to his chin! Laugh? I nearly had a hernia! 3 or 4 bunny hops from him and he's back at the window sulking.....off sledging n pub lunch soon....days like these...:D

SRM, that's so funny. My cats are so far refusing to go much past the doorstep. The dog isnt impressed either, though the snow doesnt touch her belly like poor Pepe's dog. She's still got quite a bit of clearance even though we have loads of snow :D

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
