Morning everyone
We've got snow in Bedfordshire :j
Work is closed until 10 oclock and then they will make a further decision, so at the moment I'm working from home which means I can sit on here all day with no one looking over my shoulder and catching me out no doing any work :j:jToo much month, not enough Cash!

Morning all
Hope you're all OK and those that want snow get some
We've had an eventful morning so far here in Spudland.
DH got home as far as outside the house but couldnt manage to get the car on the driveway. I legged it out with me spade in PJs and wellies (that's a look that'll catch on) to try and help. So we dug and dug at the snow, then decided to have one last try. I was in the car, DH pushing. Anyhoo, he pushed really hard, the car moved and he fell flat on his face for the third time in as many days
The cold and effort triggered me to have an asthma attack too, so much wheezing, gasping and puffing on inhalers.
Still loads of snow to try and clear, but I'll got out in a bit and do that
My hubby didn't even attempt to get the car out, he donned his boot spikes and hiked the 3 1/2 miles to work!

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Morning all!
Loads of snow here, but tucked up in bed with my sore belly and loads of Green and Blacks and books. Rather lucky that my op was yesterday, the staff had all come in prepared for an overnight stay so they knew it was coming.
Lots of peeps at the Hosp with their wrists plastered up waiting for ops.
Three weeks off now....so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
( Just cant go sledging!):D stay wonky
:D

Glad you're recovering well Pepe :T
Did you have an overnight stay in hospital or did all the doctors need the beds?

I am now enjoying the benefits of having bought an electrically adjustable bed when I could 'afford' it.

Morning lovely peeps
DH spent an hour clearing snow from the paths last night when he got in from work and this morning there's another 3" fallen. wouldn't mind but I'm taking little pickle for her swine flu injection this morning and the car is sitting covered in her snow igloo/cocoon; so I'll be pushing the pram again! Was a very vigorous workout pushing it the 3/4 mile to her hospital appointment yesterday!!!
Take care everyone.
