Anyway, I'm not sure late night delivery of even legal stuff is viable without a car  but I still maintain it's a great idea :)

Could see how the posties do it. I think they have those messenger bags, boxes on the back, baskets at the front, trolleys that trail behind etc. Just keep your balance! ;)

Here's a cool slideshow I just found about 'bikes at work', some of them are pretty surprising :rotfl:

  • Hi all,
I started selling jewellery on folksy.com at the end of November. I haven't made any sales yet but I wondered if I need to register with my local tax office within 3 months anyway? Obviously if (when hopefully) people start buying things I'll need to declare my income?
    thanks for any help,

I'm trying to come up with things to sell to students at my uni (as I mentioned briefly in the £100 to £10000 thread) but I'm drawing a blank so far on specific products

It is late tho so maybe I should think on it in the morning but thought I'd ask... do you think it's a good idea and are there any suggestions?

    Thanks :)

    Howdy Fruitloops,
How about a freshers survival pack? My OH went to university a couple years back, and everyone bought up the usual kettle, toaster etc so there were about 20 between 3 kitchens, but the majority didn't think of bringing up things like oven gloves, sugar, seasonings, hand soap etc (Hull university didn't supply any, in the Lawns Downs halls anyway. Maybe you could compile a male and female survival pack, and themed survival packed for the nervy fresher? Tissues, soap, spare phone chargers etc.

    November Freebies/wins:
£5 Habitat voucher, bag of haribo, bag of skittles, vichy cream, fairy liquid, The Sims 3 on Xbox 360
