So do the unofficial, radical, in your face, wouldn't be seen dead wearing an official course t-shirt if you paid me, controversial as hell, snub your nose at authority and organisational brand management ones instead

Feel free to quote me on one of your T-shirts ... a 10% kick back would suffice

At my old uni (Sussex) the Student union building has a big central square which gets the majority of the footfall to/from campus
There was someone who used to regularly set up with a big gas burner and a hug wok type thing who did an amazing beansprout/potato/spinach type concoction - really cheap to make and sold it in normal takeaway containers for £1. He made an absolute killing - served with various sauces - chilli etc.....
Think the big thing was because it was veggy so no having a meaty/veggy optionProud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -

If you want to keep it simple baking is always a good one. What is the union building like...is it big? Nottingham one was great as it had alot of student traffic walking through it so there were often stalls set up within it. If yours is like this you could always email the union to ask about the possibility of this. Will be great for freshers fayres. Being sold at ours was items like fancy dress costumes (school uniform like old straw hats - that sort of thing). Basically for the students to all use during a night out. A popular weekly stall was (believe it or not) fruit and veg. A grocers used to come and set up at the front of the union and sell loads. You could sell fruit snacks and maybe bake some oat bars or something - for students to grab on the way to a lecture when they've skipped breakfast!
We have one at the uni where I work - always popular with staff and students.0
