    Hi

If that's the quote you had it's a bit vague isn't it?

    Hi

When I say vague I mean ,what's a Vaillant 937 (or something)? . How would that compare to a Viessmann . A Viessmann what?

12 double rads.......... what sizes ?
    No mention of VAT.

    Impossible to price.

IMO there is no such thing as interest free credit, it'll be built in somewhere.

Anyway, you have your 3 prices . It's up to you how you feel about the installers and how they came across when you talked to them.
    Good luck.

  • Ok..the boiler is vailant ecotect 937 which has built in water cylinder. 12 radiators are all double different sizes (according to room size) also the vat is included in price. Interest free is with barclays bank as on buy now pay later but clear the balance before 12 mont ends. The company is "inHeatUK"

Almost sounds verbal to me. It really should be in writing and in detail.

    Cheers

Ok a small reality check if I may (this from my perspective of course - feel totally free to ignore)

    1. How can a National company be a local company?

    2. From their website
"InHeatUK maintain a price promise to all our customers: we offer to pay you *£150 if we fail to provide you with a cheaper quotation from either*:"
:rotfl:Anyone can beat BG prices by a substantial margin and still make a profit. Empty promise and marketing hype.

    3. Also from their website:
In fact, according to the Energy Trust, an A-rated boiler and a full set of modern heating controls could save you as much as £275 a year
Great stuff until you realise that its going to take you 10+ years to break even. More marketing hype.

    4. If they are National pretending to be local I'm guessing they are subbing out to local contractors. That means a rake-off for them by inflating the local's price. To what benefit to you?

    5. As CH says theres no such thing as Interest Free Credit - you pay for the privelege somewhere along the line.

I think if it were me I'd be looking for a local independent TBH who comes with good references from other local people and can be trusted to be there when you need him for servicing and breakdowns.

Sorry to be blunt but as I say - feel free to ignore if you want.

    Cheers
