i think i can safely say its time to move on, if she is a habitual liar as you said she is then no point going there, if she has problems like most if not all of us in this thread do then she should have the common courtesy to tell you to your face about why all of a sudden she wants to be 'just freinds' im not being overtly critical its not nice to be messed around.

oh and miroslav i concur on you about being nice, i too am too nice for my own good, a person can treat me like s**t and if he or shes needs help ill go and do it, i have times in the past where i have felt 'used' by the behaviour of people towards me, yet i still go back and help them, not to be a saint but its just in my nature....

i also threw a load of money at a girl i really liked once by showering her with gifts and trying to get her to see me as 'relationship material' but that never materialised....

She is very very very damaged. I've never met anyone even as much as 10% damaged as she is, but when we have good times, they are like nothing I have experienced for so long, she is absolutely fantastic.

We sound alike. 'S' is different in the way that it's her illness that is treating me bad. Flatmate and others can see she doesn't want to treat me bad - I can see it. She's scared and I don't want to leave her, I have grown very fond of her. I can still see her, but I need new interests, new friends.

I don't throw loads of money at 'S', I don't have much. She really is too naive to use anyone, she's clueless, and when she's good, she's so kind, generous and caring.

    Right now, she's unwell............and i'm scared for her :o

Flatmate is not going shopping with 'S' tomorrow now.

    She's really annoyed with 'S'

'S' really likes flatmate, so will be gutted, but flatmate can't do it anymore. She can't take the lies or the fact she didn't do what she said she would do yesterday - agree to go slow with me.

'S' was so up for it yesterday, but today.......

Flatmate has been really good to both of us, but I totally understand why she can't do it anymore.

She will see 'S' again, but not until we sort it out, as she's in the middle.
