You're right hun - we're still here after over 300 pages and I can't believe how this thread has flourished - amazing! Inspite of all you've been through hun, you're still going! sazzy - always there with kind, clever words and a warm heart and so slow to ask for any help in return. You're an inspiration to us all. Your compassion, intelligence and your humour have seen me and many others through darker times. Don't ever think you're alone hun and don't ever be lonely. Your soul shines through your words. mac - well I don't know how you got rose up to Scotland but good on you hun. Friendships develop here so much quicker than in the outside world - probably because we respect and care for each other enough not to say 'get a grip'. fg - our clever feelie! You have untapped strength hun and you're so caring to everyone on the thread. You've said you have your own demons to fight and I have no doubt that you have the amazing ability to beat them. Your sense of humour and your compassion are your trademarks. We're all on different journeys and at different stages. You are all wonderful souls who deserve the happiness due you. Thank you for supporting me through my hard times and for putting up with my Tiff graphics! The advice - MSE and otherwise - is always spot on.

And in between all the tears, we have laughed - I don't think any of us expected that when we signed up!:rolleyes: I'm so very proud of you all. When the tough times hit, as they will in anyone's life, know that things will change with time and that your thread family are always here.
Above anything else, remember...you're a survivor! No-one can take that away from you.

Morning all Hope the start of the year is a positive one for all my buddies here Tremendous people that you are!

Everyone forget that I mention Ant last night - its supposed to be a secret, didn't want anyone to know lol hehe. Ahh Well!

Day 38 without cigarettes or alcohol. Day 1 of the diet. Hopefully the gym will be open today so I can go for a swim. Feelie likes to do many things at once! Obsessive, me? Nah!

Started this year Happy, and I intend to carry on this way. The reason I'm depressed is because of ME. I can heal. I will heal. I will do all the things that I've got to do to get through the bad times, and I'll have lovely people to share the journey with Today is the start of a new life Well, a temporary live, my proper new life will start later I'll tell ya when to buy a hat Scrap that, ain't no one invited to my wedding! (I'm only having one witness, need someone to dance at my wedding) Right, I'm a little excitited today, so I'm gonna shut up

FG - You sounding positive and great, which is , and i wont say the 'A' word . Yeah hun this gonna be our year for all on this thread to shine. Speaking with me family last night made me realise some things, hmm, cogs going round, lol.
Erm i could take photos at ya wedding?, will do it for free seeing as it you hun , lol . I am very proud on how much you have stopped the drink and cigs hun, 38 days is great, if you can do over a month, then its shows how much strength is in ya. And if ya need any help you know we are here, i gave up smoking a few years ago now, if you get and shakes or things let me know xxx

Hiya Tiff, no you definitely didn't upset me with PM. I just find it so damm hard to see the good in me. I just don't see what others see.

I think my relationship will blossom further this year - all the signs are very good . No need to buy a hat yet - will let you know when you need to. I know feelinggood has let the name of her loved one slip but 'R' name is being kept secret :silenced: (except to those people who know :shhh:) - it's mainly to respect our privacy

Miro - You must get away from this all or nothing thinking. You are certainly not alone here in having this problem but if you can conquer it you will feel so much better and you'll be able to handle lifes problems easier.

Regarding 'S' from everything you've written she is confused young lady and she does blow hot and cold. You really need to take things slowly with her. I genuinelly think she is confused about her feelings for you. When she blows cold just accept it and gently nudge her in the right direction. If you go in too strong it will just make her back off more.

She does need time and if a relationship is going to develop it is going to take long time - how long I can't say. Eventually she will blow more hot than cold but there will always be times when she backs off.

Most relationships take time to develop. I know I have been lucky with 'R' and it has developed faster than either of us had expected. Our relationship is still developing and will continue to develop. A relationship is a journey, not a destination.
