Ethel - good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about your current problems :(

Cannot comment about the arm - could be any number of things. Might be just stress related, you have been lugging about a lot of problems recently. :)

As far as the makeup is concerned I think we both know who is responsible. Make him pay for it (literally) - he needs to learn to be responsible for his actions.

Anyway, I'm sure you don't need to wear any makeup - I bet you're still a beautiful lady without it.

    ((((((ethel)))))))

Could you claim it on household insurance?

Even if not - could you announce loudly that you can and that someone has done you a favour so that you can replace it with better1

The reaction to this should tell you who has done it!

  • it was definitely one of the kids.. the other one didn't move all night, lol

question is why would anyone do such a sh1tty thing.. seems wierd to me, specially as i hardly ever wear it anyway.. once a week if that?

elona I don't think it would be worth claiming the insurance for it.. probably about £70, it's just annoyng cos i'll have to go and replace it and probably wont bother for ages, lol

Not long until 2007, where I feel we are all due alot of happiness :)

'S' says she is coming today at 5pm and staying the night.......will believe it when I see it.

She phoned flatmate as I was away, and flatmate said she asked 8 or 9 times in the same phone call if we were sure we wanted her to come over :o Very insecure :o

I have my manly boxer shorts ready to show her - NOT! :rotfl: Well, I would return the honour of seeing her undies, but i'm not brave enough :rotfl:

'S' is very hard to entertain as her concentration levels are limited, so it could be a long night.

    Happy New Year everyone

    Hi guys

Good to see you all - blinky, good to see your hugs again!

I have literally got a pain in the neck - this cold and gone to a cough that sounds like I'm a heavy smoker and it hurts when I cough too.

Going well with husband. I have told him my feelings of fear when I feel low and this cold has made me very emotional and it brings some deep seated insecurities out. Once again, elona, something you said made me think - those pearls of wisdom do help!

Neighbours were out but there is a car there, it might go or might be a deterrent for burglars but pray they don't come back and party tonight. I don't think I could cope if they came back and partied, even if it is Hogmanay.

I agree 2007 has got to be the year where things start to improve - 2006 has on the whole sucked, there have been some good bits tho'. Finding this thread being one of them!:)

I do feel for you, wondering what mood to put yourself in for tonight, according to who will turn up and how they will be, mind you that is a normal day for me, in myself!

I assume your flatmate will be with you whatever happens, I would hate for you to be alone.

I would murder anyone who did that to MY make up or anything else of mine. I agree with blinky, make him literally pay and for the the good stuff too, not the cheap stuff, unless it has the best colours for you!

I am worried about your arm - we cannot diagnose, as you know, but blue fingers worries me, I would goto A&E if it gets worse. Tension can manefest its ugly head in odd ways. I would agree that you have been thro' the mill and back lately. I wouldn't blame you if you ran away from them all!
