Hello everyone. Just a quick hi, got to go out to Sainsbury's in a min. I'm afraid I don't like new years eve very much, so will keep my posting to a minimum today rather than bring all of you down who are looking forward to it. Will post proper replies when my head's back together. Much love to each and every one of you. Sazzy xxx4 May 20100

We are going to set up a table in the lounge and make it all pretty with candles etc.
Have starters set out around 6p.m. Then about anhour later the turkey breast and posh veg then another delay and a posh chocolate torte for afters. At midnight we will pull crackers and hope for a better 2007. It will be me, DH and four DDs - we did say they were welcome to go out- but they all wanted it to be a family time.
Three deaths, two operations and two diagnosis of terminal cancer in one year are enough for any family.
That sounds lovely.. can I come to yours?
I'm sorry you've had such a painful year.. sort of puts things in perspective doesn't it? I hope 2007 brings all your wishes and dreams to come true *huggs*☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Yes, I'm feeling a bit better, tired though - not in any imminent danger. Missing 'R', I won't see her till Thursday. She had already arranged to be away with some girlfriends over New Year before we met. She's missing me too.
Hope things pickup soon for you. You need to start looking for a new man. Don't say there isn't anyone out there for you - just look at me, that's what I thought until a few months ago
It'll be a v quiet New Year for me. I'm the only one here and I'm on call for work (= no alcohol).
2006 has been a bit up and down for me with some bad downs. I am looking forward to 2007 though. I think myself and 'R' have a great future together.
Hope this post hasn't been too mushy.
Big hugs to all and especially those who are having a tough time.
sorry to hear you'll be alone for new year.. although for me I'd kind of prefer it that way... I can do my weeping n wailing in private then wihtout blaming it on some cheesy song or sommat
I thnk the last thing i need is a new man.. I reckon im at a place in my life where I just can't give a relationship the time and attention it would need in order to flourish.. b/f is back.. and things are a lot better.. we talked about a lot of things and are more understandng of each other but I still think we're doomed long term... mostly because of all the other stresses and dramas i have going on
2006 has been a weird, fekked up year aint it? mine started with a row on years eve and seemed to go progressively downhill from there, with the exception of a very few positives.
Not enough mush!!! i think the world needs more mushiness.. it would be so much nicer then
I've decided im not going to make any new year revolutions, i know what I need to.. i wont jinx myself by planning on making those changes all in one day.. so long as i take baby steps all year I'll get there eventually... won't I?☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

CCStar wrote:Of course you feel shattered - I feel shattered reading about it! Make 2007 a year where you look after you. Help and alternative sources for your family are out there, use them! You are doing your best.
I would say to your son - bye bye, especially if he puts make up down the loo - I pity your mum tho' but she might be able to cope better. Your daughter sounds pretty hard work too. They sound like teenagers.
My son keeps saying he can't wait to leave home, I keep saying, look for a place to live and don't be taken for a fool, with your money. We are downsizing when we move and it will be too cramped if he becomes the prodigal son, unless, he really tows the line.
He's only 14 cc.. and generally he's a really good kid.. my little rock as it were. On closer inspection.. it would appear that the last 2 alcopops are missing from the fridge.. and someone decided to replace the bloo loo thingy.. knocking things off the shelves in the process....... I shall find out more when he surfaces
Slowly slowly I'm finding out about what's out there.. and starting to use it.. some things take time to set up so I'm hoping that by Easter we'll have a proper support network in place and life should get a bit easier???
Your son is old enough to sort his life out now.. maybe he'll have a different attitude once he's been out in the real world?☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

The wind is getting stronger, the lights went out for a couple of seconds, enough to reset the clocks:(
Hubby says it wasn't local but with the winds, the chance of a power cut will increase. I shall dig out those candles and our son gave us some nice ones for Christmas, so might be new years eve in the dark. I don't need this with having a cold on top!:(An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes, do use the support systems, they are invaluable!
He will be 19 in February and with selling the house, next year should be interesting and hopefully better. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
