Morning everyone. Shall I let you into a little Sazzy secret? I'm still in bed!! :shhh: Isn't wireless internet a wonderful thing?! :rotfl: Ahem, but I am getting up in a minute, honest guv. Besides, Saz is gasping for a cuppa :D Think the accumlated stress and pressure of the past few days finally caught up with me. Can you believe it though - I slept like a log last night! Didn't wake up once. Wow, sleep's great, innit?

Hope this finds you all well. Have a good weekend peeps! :hello:

    Much love,
    Saz x

Hi Saz - posting while you're in bed?!jaw2.gifblush.gif What will our new guys think?!
I'm not looking ok? behindsofa.gif Sometimes exhaustion can be a wonderful thing can't it? You enjoy it hun - we're just all jealous!;) you give so much and your time is appreciated. Thanks for your support hun. :T Wellie-wearing Rosie is right  , today is a real toughie.

Exactly a year ago today, 2nd December 2005, my Dad died suddenly a few days after surgery - Coroner's verdict was death by misadventure. I'm trying to be a big brave Tiff but I'm breaking my heart. Trying to keep busy, and trying to help on here is hopefully distracting me from it (she says with tears in her eyes:rolleyes: ) It's also the anniversary of my cousin aged 17, being killed by a drunk driver. And the 6th December is the day I nearly died while being held hostage. With Dad dying just 4 days before it last year, I'm finding it a bit hard at the moment. We buried my darling Dad on 20th December. Sorry guys, for posting this - I'm supposed to be helping you! :o You'll have to forgive me - I hope!

The ironic thing is, I'd know all the right things to say to someone else but I can't make them work for me! :o So I'm just trying to get through each hour as best as I can - it's all I can do right guys?;) But it doesn't stop the tears so I'm sorry if I've made your computers damp!
I think I'll put a huge dose of love at the top of my Christmas/Birthday list this year. And I wish you all the same. :A

I have been breaking down what is bugging me.

I am tired due to lack of sleep due to feeling so downtrodden

I feel my family are emotional vampires on top

They do take some of the practical load and can talk to them about things and they give advice about practical things, but emotionally, I feel drained by them. I feel bad saying this about it, but it is how I feel.

They are all hard work, nothing flows without a major drama.

I don't like the 2nd of December either, it is our horrible neighbour's birthday today and I think they are going to have another noisy party tonight.

I need that like a hole in the head.

Again, you are a great person. I want to thank you so much for listening. I can see even from the 1st few days how much effort it takes to be a poster on here and I am touched by the love and caring you guys show. It makes the rest of mse seem like a playground compared to the serious value this thread holds.

I wont get to see the thread til i get back - probably monday ish.
Get yourself an xmas avvy, have a mince pie and take from life what you can.
Hug the people who you love and anyone else who will let you.

    xxxxx

Have a great time in Brum, Gilly. You're a good person too - never forget that - a caring and valuable member of our gang.
I could always get a job as a santa. And i'll drive round to see you all in the outfit.

    Is that a promise?! :D

    Take care hun,
    Sazzy xx

I don't have a cat :( Would like to one day though...

"Emotional vampires" - what an apt expression! Don't feel bad saying it - that's the effect they have on you, end of story. Try to keep some kind of semi-barrier up against their draining effects, at least for the next while until the house sells and you get some freedom. You need all your strength. Sxx

    Hiya everyone :)

Sorry for causing so much worry the other day, I didn't mean to.. just lost the plot a bit :/

Tried to get an appt with my GP but none for two weeks so in the meantime I've doubled my AD dose... see if that helps til I can get to see him.

    Hope you're all ok *hugggggggggggggs*

    Ethel xxx

Hiya Ethel hun, good to hear from you! Would it be possible to get an appointment with an alternative GP if it means getting seen sooner? How's things with you otherwise? Love Saz xx
