Don't give up fg - try to stand your ground if you can. So far as I can tell he does not and will not consider your needs - so you must do it for yourself. You know you can't cope with the trip and that's the main thing. And anyway, as you say, he only wants you along so he doesn't get bored - again - only thinking about himself. Do this for you hun BIG HUGS xxx S

    I can't.
I've got to live with him, and can't cope with what will happen if I say I don't want to go.
I'll just keep going like this, till I have another breakdown. Then he'll leave me and I'll be free x

Good point miro and true someone could look like brad pitt or brittany lol but be an awful person, the inside is much more important.I don't think it would be pushy to text "S" not sure about the joke though she could possibly take it the wrong way,i know i do sometimes.

    Britney :p not Brittany ;)

She could take it the wrong way.........knowing her :o She's gone a bit funny about Britney lately as well

I think GL's right - don't see harm in texting, joke may be ok so long as you think she'd take it as that x

Hmmmm, never know with her...........frustrating having to think so hard about what is right/wrong to text.........usually takes me 15 mins to work out a text deleting and all that :rotfl:

She doesn't get jokes very well, and often starts laughing lots when flatmate laughs just to try and show she gets the silliness, but she doesn't sometimes :(

    Oh what fun!

fg I have to say you are far stronger than I am - I couldn't cope with that at all. The worst thing for me is thinking if he only gave you the support you need, that he ought to give you, you wouldn't be forced down this road.... xxx

This isn't being strong - this is giving up.
If I was strong, I'd fight, and I'd chance things.
I've just got to accept that this is the life I chose, and until something changes, I've got to put up with it.
