    Night Rose & Sazbo

I'm off too, feeling low and going to 'touch up' my cheesy song for 'S'

I've gotta add in about her big blue eyes and the pigtails she was wearing last night..........so very cute! :D

Would it be silly of me to offer her one of the CD's with it on, for Christmas, if things go well between now and then? It'll be something unique :o

feelinggood - hope today went well

    Hi to all

    Bye to all

Thank you first of all for reading my previous post, it was hard to write but it did help as an outlet. Thank you again for your kind replies.

As far as taking time off from work...
From previous experience taking time off isn't always the best thing - give me too much time to think and stew... :( I don't know if anybody else has found this.
Yes, it can be very stressful, my main client is very demanding. Unfortunately, there's a lot of important work coming up and I've become the fountain of all knowledge for the relevant systems. The best I can hope for is that someone can take up some of the work. Of our original team of 4, 2 have been "loaned" to other contracts but when we tried to recall them 2 weeks ago for training we couldn't get them back. The proposed solution is that we train 2 people up but that more work :(
The best I can hope for is that someone will stand up and at least do their fair share.

    Nothing positive there I know...

I have found going into work is better for me,i am a single parent and if i don't work i can't pay the bills so no matter how bad i have fealt i have managed to get to work.I f i did not i think some days i would not even bother to get washed and dressed. As you say if you stop at home it just leaves more hours to think, not always a good thing.I know if you train 2 people up it will be more work but hopefully once they are trained they will take some of the presure off.

Thank you, yes, I've had days at university where I was unable to get up and dressed. I've already mentioned that being occupied helps too unless things are really bad when you cant do anything.

Unfortunately it will take months to get the people trained up. :(

Indeed, taking time off can be worse than continuing with it, but if you could take time out and find something you could do.....like take a break with a friend, go visit someone in another town and stay etc etc. The balance of too much stress and too much time to stew, is a difficult one.

Sometimes, having someone to 'look after' makes you do things that maybe you wouldn't if you were on your own.

I know if I still had my daughter, or a partner, i'd feel more able, but as i'm in essence, a single male, it's hard to fight on my own.

However, for blinky, it seems training someone up could take a long time :(

I'm stuck on lyrics, so been trying to get inspiration around the net, and I now realise some of my rhymes sound forced

    Bleurgh!

Can't sleep yet, need to do some lyrics!!!
