I had a great time, I really hope she did as much as she said. I'm looking forward to Sunday.

I hope she likes me, I've not felt this way in so long, that if it goes wrong, I don't know if I will recover.

I really care about her, such a fantastic girl.

I'm gonna go bed, i've tired myself out (or she has!) and have nice thoughts about my day.

I'll be depressed again tomorrow, but hopefully more and more good days will happen, with 'S', and one day, with other people too.

More good days will happen, for sure. I'm gonna crash too. Glad you had a nice day though. Sweet dreams Miro hun. And good night and sweet dreams to everyone... Saz xxx

    Hi All,

How is everyone doing? I am ok. Anxiety has been a bit up and down at the minute, but am not crying, well apart from about my hamster, but that is allowed and I haven't cried this week about it. Feel ok at the mo, it is half term next week, so only have 2 more days of work, then a week off. Already have lots of plans, but mostly nice things to do (lunch with my Nan, day out with my Mum etc).

Going to see my doctor on Monday to talk about how I am doing. Part of me wants him to take me off the anti-psychotic, as I haven't been psychotic for ages, but maybe it is the tablets that are stopping me being psychotic?! I know I still need to take the anti-depressants, but maybe I could stop those. Well I am going to ask Dr about it and see what he says. On the other hand maybe if things are going well at the minute I shouldn't try to change anything!

Off to bed now, but my thoughts are with you all, particularly Rose, I hope you are ok. Good night.

    Hey Flis! :)
Your're thinking along the right linesangel - NEVER stop a medication without seeing your doctor. As you say, they might be the reason you're coping well.
Believe me the doctors will be the first ones to yank you off your meds if they're not needed! ;)
    Have a good day angel

    hi all,

thanks for all the advice so far.
Hi cibd! :) How are you?
You sound as if you don't know which way to turn 1st hun.

I am sure that I do not want to see the doctor. I do trust them 100% but to be honest I cannot see how they can help. Sorry I do not feel that any medication will help or any counselling will help. I may be wrong but I believe that all that is wrong with me is that I am alone.
I hope that's the case angel. You do sound more isolated, bored and lonely than very depressed. One tip though hun - none of us thought that a doctor/couselling/tablets would ever help us - don't dismiss everything until you've tried it, though I hope you don't have to - depression is an awful thing.

Has anyone else felt in this position and found that it has been 'resolved' by finding companionship? I have so far avoided just having a relationship for the sake of it but am worried that in future I may hook up with someone just so I am not alone and I know that would not be fair to them.
I have actually known someone do that cibd. They ended up miserable because it was all fake. It's never a good idea and unfair on the other person as you say. Don't fall into the trap of anything is better than nothing hun. It sounds as if what you need 1st is friends and then as your circle widens, you'll get the opportunities for relationships for the right reasons.

I know you are advising to get out and join groups and the like but the problem is that there are not the people here that I don't already know - very few people move here and I already know everyone around. But I am also fearful that if I move then I may just feel more alone in a larger area. At the moment at least I have some interaction with people around me but may lose that in a big city if I do not have confidence to get out and about.
It doesn't have to be a big city that you move to cibd. It's always scary when you move away from home ground hun - everyone feels it. As I said, if you move away to a job, that will give you finances and motivation and opportunity to make friends. Do you drive? Is there public transport to nearby larger towns? How about a college course if not for work then as a leisure activity? that's guaranteed to get you meeting people.

Ideal solution would be to meet someone over the net and move away to be nearer them but I am all too aware that this is not going to happen (especially very quickly)
Not so sure about it being the "ideal" solution. You may have to meet several people over the net before you find someone suitable - and moving every time until the right girl comes along isn't feasible or very wise. You may just end up feeling resentful that they don't live up to your expectations hun.

God why can't life be easy!
Because it would be extremely boring! A positive point (and I'm not being patronising angel) is that you've got time on your side.
Make yourself happy first angel - you deserve it - and then once you're content, you will stand a better chance of a successful relationship.
Let us know how you're doing hun. Take care
    Tiff.
