I'd call them and tell them they can arrange collection of the 2nd set. They may just tell you to keep both.

Hi, ive received my books today but ive had two lots delivered??? one has been sent to my home address and one to my parents, but ive only been charged once. What do you think i should do, call them to advise them or just not bother?

This happened to me too. I've only been charged once and have two invoices - one states the price I paid and the other is just blank! So now I have 16 books! :rotfl:

I haven't done anything about it either... it'll be a bit of a hassle to send the extra set back unless they send a courier to pick it up.

Mine was canceled, called up and they put the order through a second time and informed me that I'd already been charged for the canceled order so wouldn't be charged for the second one.

Didn't receive any dispatch email or anything at all informing me of any of this, but took their word for it that they would arrive by the 15th at the latest, and they arrived today :)

    HTH!

(Have to admit, I read the first chapter of the first book today and was a little disappointed! The writing style seems quite juvenile and doesn't seem like the sort of quality you'd get from an accomplished writer, and certainly not the sort of prose I was expecting after the TV series... But that's just my first impression from one chapter! I will persevere with it and hope it gets better ;) The TV series was fantastic!)

I know what you mean about the writing style...the later books are even worse and books 8 and 9 (which I bought seperately) don't flow very well at all.

That said, I still really enjoyed them all and think the stories are good, but the first few books up to book four (one word - Eric) are the best ones.

    Aw don't be put off!

I read loads and loads and they can't be that bad because I read the 8 books in 12 days and ordered the 9th one to come from Amazon when I was on book 6.

I did really enjoy them but they are not exactly works of literary genius is all. Good stories though :)

They sound a bit like guilty pleasures for us book lovers, then! And maybe a little like the Twilight books?

I'm surprised they come across as a bit 'teeny' - the TV series is definitely very adult! I was looking forward to sex, drugs, rock and roll! :rotfl:
