I too got them before xmas with the offer. The books are brilliant, so much in them. ordered the 9th book separately. Even got my friend in Sweden in to them.

apparently series 2 will be on fx channel from febuary. but i might have to give and in watch it online from america!

Channel four have been showing season one for people asking, FX are too, im not really sure how the liscence worked there but FX are starting s2 sooner

I watched season 2 online (couldnt wait...XD and i kept reading spoilers accidentaly on forums etc) im phsyched s4 is confirmed

Oh and how long do they take to post things out? just so i know lol tis my first order and im not sure what to expect lol

I ordered these online too on 23/12 and they were only dispatched yesterday!

So not sure if they were OOS or whether they shut for xmas but I am desperate for them!!!!!!! I cant wait to start reading.

Delivery is supposed to be 5 - 7 working days but it does state that it might vary at peak times. Really hope they arrive before my holiday.

Question for those who have read - does the TV show spoil the books or the other way around at all? It's been my TV highlight of last year so I don't know which should come first now - I'll read 1 and 2 on holiday but then what - wait for the show or read on? Dilemma

They were closed for Christmas and New Year in one long stretch. They only went back to work on the 4th Jan. That's why it was only despatched out yesterday.

Just a heads up in case it happends to anyone else.

Just got an email to say my order (placed this morning) was cancelled. Very odd, but the CSA has said they will sort it and get it out to me by the 15th Jan and that they have thousands in stock.

Same thing happened to me, called them as well and got the same response. They said the card has already been charged so they will put through another order at no cost, will arrive by the 15th at the latest.

Yeah it happened to me as well, the csa didnt know why but hazarded a guess it could be the weather affecting the warehouse. She said she would put the order through again as they have lots in stock.
