Only when you scrape the car against the gate post after drinking a bottle

thanks for your replies everybody, ya i do mean car wash stuff :D but the problem with the neat liquid is that it dries up to white residue even before the wiper is done with cleaning up the windscreen.
Buy the ready mix stuff at Halfords, they usually have a deal on and I've never known this to freeze up.

An "old" trick, bit more difficult with modern cars where every thing tends to be hidden away.

Buy about a yard of polythene tubing and a couple of "joining" adapters, insert the additional hose into the existing piping between the nozzles and reservoir, coiling the excess pipe around the "top hose" to the radiator.
When the engine heats up this will thaw out the pipes/nozzles which always freeze first and will put warm water onto the screen - which is far less likely to freeze there than icy water from the reservoir.

Where's got the best value concentrated screen wash for a cheap skate like me? I go through loads of water in my washer bottle but need to start using screen wash as I'm sick of it freezing and sick of having a dirty grit-dust covered windscreen!

    Cheers,

    Mike

Thought that was the diluted stuff for £3.99 but if it doesn’t freeze or leave big streaks it’l do! At 80p/L I’d use that neat even in summer if it still works well?
