NSD today. Tomorrow will be a LSD as need to pick up a card and some loo roll and kitchen towel. Think OH will get these but not banking on it.

    Onepoll still at £39.40

Quidco up to £87.02 but no sign of payout.

In credit by over £100 on both gas and electricity accounts- next bills due around 10th Jan.

Have a few good items to ebay- accidentally bought 2 pairs of jeans from OH that are exactly the same, I thought they were different styles and shades etc. Both from ebay so will list one pair. Also have a set of DVDs, a scarf and glove set. As weight loss kicks in I will start listing clothes in order to partially fund a size-evolving wardrobe of basics.

I'm contemplating starting diet on 30th Dec- I really don't fancy going out for NYE. If I change my mind then I'll start on 1st Jan as originally planned.

Waiting for deliveries that should arrive tomorrow or Friday and a few more transactions that should clear out of the bank account so I have an amount to survive January on- all food/fuel/bills paid so could be very minimal.

Productive day so far. Washing up in soak, banking checked, gone through cash back site for a transaction.

    Still to do:

investigate pet insurance policies via cashback site done- £120 cashback and a provider who pays vet directly
keep checking onepoll- keep doing but no luck
Mr T for a few bits
pick up paperwork from LL- can't do as offices shut. Will do next week after work one day
    tidy up
    clean laundry away
    get fresh air in done
    list 5 items on ebay
    wipe around kitchen done

currently have £133.71 in bank. Still to come out of that is £14.99 for creditexpert, £17.51 phone bill and around £9.76 ebay fees. This leaves me with= £91.45 but food, fuel and all bills are paid.

    I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

I don't want to throw a spanner in the works but be careful with your pet insurance. It will probably be better to go with the provider that your vet deals directly with. My furbaby was seriously ill earlier in the year (we almost lost him but he is back to normal now - phew!) and my vet didn't deal with my insurace provider (who I got via a cashback site) so we had to pay 2k in vets bills upfront. We got the money back but it was a worrying time. Jeez, I dread to think how many grey hairs I got with worrying about him and the money.

so pleased your furbaby is ok. Thanks for the advice, we don't have a vet yet. The furbabies need to get snipped so I don't get any extra furbabies and they need their jabs too although I know these don't come under insurance. They are indoor furbabies but want to get it sorted before they become outdoor furbabies!

    Will do some investigating x

still nothing on onepoll- so frustrating! I wonder if there's no surveys until 2012 once all bank holidays etc will have gone.

    Getting paranoid they won't payout!

Also keeping a beady eye on creditexpert and quidco to check for updates on cashback paying out and hopefully my credit score improving!

checked cred1texpert- no change in score but one of my defaults has disappeared from my file even though it still had years to stay on there. Not sure why this has happened but I'm not complaining!

    checked 1poll- no surveys again!

Have £2 in my purse and £103.71 in my bank (this has to cover £9.26 ebay fees, £17.51 phone bill and £14.99 creditexpert). I have no other outgoings this month that are ESSENTIAL so should have some surplus. That being said, I want to stock up on postage bags etc for ebay sales and a printer/copier/scanner so I can get into ebaying in a big way in January to top up my income. Should have lots of gorgeous clothes to sell that will unfortunately not fit me anymore! (fingers crossed)

checked qu1dco- waiting for £120 to track so my total balance due will be around £200- this will take a while to payout as it's all for insurance policies but that's ok, it will be a welcome bonus when it arrives.

Upgraded phone although it could take a fortnight for my phone to arrive due to post delays etc. Should be able to sell old phone for £200+ which will go straight off a card.

have 6 items listed on ebay. one has 1 watcher, one has 2 watchers, one has 11 watchers and one is going for £6.50 already. Have listed them for 10 days to give me time to set up operation ebay account.

OH's old phone could fetch around £50 so need to ask him if I can have that!

OH has pledged to give me a pound for every lb I lose on my new lifestyle diet- exciting!

Gammon joint roasting in oven along with tray of roasted potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onions. Will empty fridge of as much temptation as possible before 1st January.

I plan to contact each of my 5 remaining defaults. One has an outstanding balance on it which hasn't been paid for over 3 years due to no CCA so I might try to offer to pay it in full for the default to be removed from my file- probably won't work but worth a go. I'll also write to the other satisfied defaults and see if I can negotiate with the companies as some of them are for small amounts (less than £300). If that doesn't work I might try to get them to prove they sent the letters they had to etc. Again, probably won't work but I love a letter-writing campaign and nothing ventured, nothing gained.
