NSD again
£34.80 on one poll
No news on creditexpert situation yet.
Good news is I have £8.50 of Mr T vouchers which arrived today. My vouchers also had a message about some vouchers I hadn't used. Logged on to clubcard account and now I have £14.50 of vouchers which apparently I didn't used from 2010!! Hoping this will cover majority of spends for shopping until 25th. May pop into ald1 and l1dl for sandwich stuff and cheap veg. Also have a 52p and a 15p voucher for Mr A.
Need to pop into work to print these vouchers off in colour.
So all in all a good day. 14 days til payday.
Positives
clean and tidy flat (apart from bedroom- this is my project)
it's Friday
I'm going to have a long hot shower to destress
going to have a nice cuppa when OH gets in with the milk- DFD 4th July 2015

I wonder what the payday loan people are playing at? Good job you've been able to track down all your payments, I'm sure that will make it a lot easier to sort out, if spending the day on the phone to them can in any way be called 'easy'.
On the other hand - nice to get the clubcard vouchers! I too had a nice surprise, as I thought I had spent most of them and an amazing and mysterious £62 has appeared in my name deep in the vaults of Clubcard land! That's in addition to £13 in vouchers - there are five of us hence the amount. DH also got his clubcard statement - with no vouchers and a spend of 42 points!! No point me getting annoyed when subtle will do so I shall parade my points proudly and discuss how they will be spentMaybe 'subtle' is the wrong word...
It's a nice feeling though, isn't it? I never manage to spend mine on the special offers though as there's nothing I want enough (though I might change that if breadmakers appear in the special offers).
Wish I was in reach of Ald1 or L1dle, we don't have anywhere comparable here since our Netto got Asd@ised.
Oh, and Paula - like the sig!Miggy

Yes to the breadmaker!!!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If I can go on and on (and on) about an oven, and on and on even more about a breadmaker I haven't got, I think I would lose all my friends pretty fast if I got my hands on one!Miggy

Ha ha maybe! I am very tempted by a breadmaker... the idea of a fresh loaf is very appealing rather than cardboard Mr T rubbish- DFD 4th July 2015

Was a NSD until I became obsessed with the lottery and spent £14 on tickets...!!!!!!?! I'm hoping I win enough to cover my spends but realistically that won't happen. Silly MissShoes.
Tomorrow will be a spend day too. Planning a small grocery trip (all on vouchers) and a baby Ikea trip- just a shelving unit and a rug.
Got a lot of chores to do- laundry, tidying bedroom, meal planning etc. Not feeling very energised. Just about to have a long hot shower and get into some fresh lounging around clothes.
Not update on creditexpert. Will keep checking.- DFD 4th July 2015

Spent £39 today in ikea. Home looking better for it.
Tomorrow will print off vouchers and do grocery shop.
Lunches for tomorrow done.
Will have to be up very early for work so its off to bed I go.
No lottery winnings!!!! What a surprise!!
Will check up on creditexpert and onepoll tomorrow. Planning a long but efficient and productive day at work, with a bubble bath or g and t as my reward.
12 days til payday.- DFD 4th July 2015

£35 on onepoll
Had pastabake ready for lunch and promptly left it at home.
£1.75 on lunch and £2.89 on grocery shop (the rest was covered by vouchers). I still have £6 of vouchers to use for next week.
No news on creditexpert.
OH is running very low on cash, examining his banking shows he takes out cash almost daily- there really is no need for this. He can take lunches, pay travel weekly or fortnightly by card, free coffees at work which leaves smokes. Need him to realise he's spending all the time mindlessly.
Managed to make tomorrow's lunches tonight, got chicken out of freezer ready for stirfry for dinner, cleaned cats water fountain and relaxed after a long day at work.
11 days til payday.
Tomorrow's missions:
Cancel OH dd for phone- this goes out a few days before payday- completely illogical and costs fees
Check onepoll religiously- so close
Check money has cleared into OH account
Make bed properly- clean sheets
Hang up dry laundry
Sort out bedroom
Wash dishes
Tidy up- this will take less than 5 minutes- DFD 4th July 2015

Shame about the lottery
! Would have been great - but as you say, pay day is creeping closer.
The Ikea stuff sounds nice. Buying a rug is just the sort of thing I ought to be doing on these grey days. (Living where I do we entirely missed the sunny warmth recently!)
You are doing very well with your printing out vouchers and keeping track of clubcard points and I owe you a
:T:T:T Thank you:T:T:T
because you reminded me to check my Clubcard points and thanks to you I am not about to lose £9 worth which I hadn't realised I hadn't spent! Sending you a virtual G&T by way of thanks.
Isn't it maddening when one's OH just doesn't see how the money is leaking away? Mine always used to spend rather than budget - not wild overspends but he just didn't know what was going where and couldn't see where to begin to tackle it. I'm very thankful that he went on a course about money and started trying to work out where it was going. He couldn't track it all down but I had some spending diaries to hand which I had tried and given up a few times so I could tell him what I thought we were spending. The system he was shown involved 'pots' of money for various needs, and we reckoned we were spending about £120 a week on food and housekeeping, so I suggested that (based on what I'd read here) we try to trim it to £100. We've been living at that rate for months now and only once gone off track by more than a pound or so. Sometimes there's even some left over. It's been a big help having the money in cash and challenging ourselves not to get any more out. I wonder if something like that might help your OH but I'm not sure he's on board with the need to be in control of finances?
Now you have further prompted me that I should get a few ingredients into the slow cooker because tomorrow is a busy day and I can save myself some hassle by doing it now.Miggy
