also, are you allowed to just buy unlimitted amounts of the vitamins? i can't see why someone who frequently shops in boots wouldnt just snap em all up if it means FREE MONEY to spend in boots.

    Yes you are.

    cos yes it does :)

Tonight I bought 6 bottles of Vitamin C tabs (£5.94)

The basic vitamin c tablets i picked up cost 99p but for me (leeds centre) they scanned at just over £2, so check your receipts and make sure you didnt get overcharged!

Did they have 90 in them?
The 99p ones have 30 in them and the £2.xx have 90 in them and are identical apart from the amounts.

This happend to me today! I bought 2 x Vit C & Rosehip, they were in a box on the counter with a printed 99p on them & when I got home & checked my receipt they had gone through as £1.98 each  I called the store & they told me they should have been 99p & to go back & get a refund :j. I will pop back again tomorrow & see if they have any more left as I have 4 more vouchers to use!

    Dx

oww... I tried today and bought some vit c chewable. The lady said I don't need a boots card becuase you cant get points under 1 pound. I then showed her my 200 points voucher and said she will do it separately. The points didnt go through in the end becuase it said I didnt buy any vitamins or supplements! dammit

Do i need to spent over 99p?

It sounds like you were served by a christmas temp person who clearly does not know what to do.

It has to go through together she scans the pot of vits you give her your Boots card and voucher and she adds the points. She sounds as if she doesn't know what she's doing!! You should have told her not to bother then walk off to another till . I don't usually say what my voucher is I just hand them it and they add them on. Have another go:jgood luck

    I can't see how it's PROFIT, though.

there's still the initial outlay. its only profit if you sell the things you buy with the points.

can you really buy mobile phone top ups in boots? my local boots doesnt do this, and they dont have any of these machines, either.

Its profit in the respect that the points I've made from buying the vitamins and then getting the £2 each time on my points card, have bought today in the 75% off sale, presents that I'm putting away for Christmas. So I've in effect got 75% off, plus £1.01 in every £2 put on my card in points from the vitamins, saved on the price of the items I bought today :). I went to the sale today armed with a list, stuck to it, and I now don't have to buy pressies later in the year, when they will cost a lot more.

Yes, you can buy mobile phone top ups in Boots, for all networks, as far as I'm aware. I regularly buy my top ups there. And even if your local branch has not acm voucher machine, you can still print off your vouchers at another store, and use the vouchers in your local branch.

And yes, you can buy unlimited amounts of the vitamins. I am lucky that I have half a dozen branches pretty nearby, so I can spread out my vitamins purchases with the points coupons. But I do know a couple of lovely SAs who would let me use all of mine with them, as they like to see the bargains I get.

    This certainly works

I pressed print as quickly as I could - until I got bored (and slightly embarrassed lol) and managed to get 16 to print out!!:j

lol! thought you were all joking but I printed out 36 on one card today and I could have got more but finger got sore!!

no free vits in my store though. It's good fun all this bootsing!

I didn't get that voucher when I used the extra offers kiosk today. Just the same old boring ones like 500 points if you spend £60 online.

    I'll keep checking...
  • I made a special trip to Boots today for this ... (well, it meant walking across the car park from Sainsburys..) But no vouchers for me, it seems.. Just a "spend £35 on qualifying products" for some points, a phone recycling one and two others that were so unmemorable I've forgotten them already.

I hardly use Boots - they are not very competitively priced for the sorts of things I buy. Ah well ..
