The OFT will 'take strong action'....by which they mean they will wait 4 years, then revoke their consumer credit licence [oooh, that must really smart]....which is about 2 years after the scum has gones 7its up and they will already be operating under a new identity.
So my all means complain away, but please don't delude yourself that the OFT will spring into rapid action or acheive anything meaningful.

I am delighted to report that, as a result of numerous complaints, the PFT have indeed removed Compensation Professionals Network's licence to trade:http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/credit-and-loans/dealing-with-debt/article.html?in_article_id=517511&in_page_id=62
I was asked if I was prepared to go to court as a witness to report the cold call I had from this company and confirmed that I was. It seems that the OFT had lined up their tanks on the lawn of this nasty bunch and had many people prepared to testify against it. In the end, the pressure got too great and the company decided to give up the fight.
It may not always work but sometimes making a stand does make a difference!
