I am delighted to report that, as a result of numerous complaints, the PFT have indeed removed Compensation Professionals Network's licence to trade:

I was asked if I was prepared to go to court as a witness to report the cold call I had from this company and confirmed that I was. It seems that the OFT had lined up their tanks on the lawn of this nasty bunch and had many people prepared to testify against it. In the end, the pressure got too great and the company decided to give up the fight.
It may not always work but sometimes making a stand does make a difference!
Er....not so quick.
These cowboys have had lots of time to have already set up their next firm and got a licence [maybe using shadow directors], so they will merely take their mailing and sucker list to the next one and hey ho....business as usual.
Sorry to be so cynical......
