Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!

I don't have a 'master' bedroom - me and OH sleep on sofa bed in lounge. DD1 & 2 share main bed room - but they live in a tip!!

Do I try to fly their room - but they are suppose to clean it themselves.

Or shall I do DD3's bed room and possibly DS's as I'm not at work tomorrow so have more free time?? Decisions decisions

Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Best get the ironing board out tomorrow now then Jo, bit too late to start now unlike greenbee who needs a great big kick up the jacksie- can't believe you would sleep in a sleeping bag rather than make your own bed you lazy mare! And yes I am trying to avoid the marking!
I didn't want to make it without doing the rest of the stuff (wiping the frame, dusting etc, which I don't like doing once its made as it gets the bedding dusty... I hoover the mattress last, then make the bed.

Greenbee - what's a pawnbroker chair? Google images fail me....
They're chairs with three little round balls in the frame on the back... when I get my new camera working I'll take pictures (they're very small, rickety and not particularly comfortable - they're old and should really be bedroom chairs, but if I used proper sized chairs I wouldn't fit 10 round the table!)

OK... so I've done quite well in the bedroom - taken everything off the chest of drawers, tall boy, blanket chest, bedside table & dressing table, dusted them, sorted and dusted the stuff to put back (and thrown some out); wiped the bedframe, wiped the chair, dusted & polished the pictures and mirror; wiped the lampshades, lamps, flexes (yuk) and bulbs (I can see more now!), hoovered the floor, hoovered the skirting, dewebbed, hoovered the blind... so tonight I just need to make the bed and then tomorrow I'll dust the corner shelf which has an ancient doll's teaset on it, wipe the window frame, window sill & wood work and wash the floor. All the drawers and the wardrobe have been sorted and tidied recently but I bet pigpen manages to come up with SOMETHING on bedroom day that I haven't done!:p ETA... just seen that bedroom day is tomorrow, so I should be able to cross most of it off before I go to bed!

Better get my bed made, hot water bottles made and go to bed... I need to do some ironing before work tomorrow (huge stack of pillowcases  which I'll need for visitors)

Oh my goodness, this is one heck of a thread to keep up with! Just skimmed it before I go to bed.

Problem with dh's work computer is that I can't seem to cut and paste on it, I am half way through the Monday list, but too tired now to type it all out slowly.

Had a great day today, dh had a days holiday to use up, so we went to the beach in the freezing cold, it was totally empty and very beautiful.

Back to school tomorrow, so off to first hang up underwear for everyone overnight ( knew there was something I had forgotten:o) and then to bed.
