    Suffering from a severe attack of CBA... what I want to do is sit in front of the fire, drink wine, eat chocolate and read...

    ... what I should do is hoover the floors upstairs, dust the bedroom, hoover the mattress, turn the mattress and make my bed, so I can wash the upstairs floors tomorrow :rolleyes:

    ... maybe I'll make a list ;) of what needs doing by Wednesday (my brother is coming over apparently) and what by Saturday...

    Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    I've now washed all the dishes - I've done none since yesterday morning and made Twinks in between as well as cooking normal meals - so the kitchen is looking better just for that! However I've just cut my finger on a can I was rinsing out before I put it in the recycling so it's now wrapped up in a tea-towel.

    Kids tucked up in bed, came down feeling smug as had a good day and the house looks much better.

    Hear a sawing sound as I come downstairs - can my ears be deceiving me or is DH sawing in the kitchen and all the sawdust is falling all over the floor I mopped just a few hours ago? :mad: Will he clean it up? :mad:

    Grrrrrrrrr :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
    Mine took his saw into the cellar tonight! Maybe he took the hint after I made him caress my shiny clean cooker hood and admire the clean floor...it won't last long!
