Brr - very chilly here, but have been busy - banks done & good start made on DS's room, and DS shorn at the barbers (no queues at all!)

library - find & return books
p.mag - check on advertisers I've not heard from, issue invoices, speak to editor, start 2009 accounts (in year is done - need to add on last 4 months)
nct - sort garage bits, update treasurer, get out NNS lists & make a date for planning meeting, speak to HS, RBC forms up to date?
DS's bedroom (tidy, clothes try on, new lamp, change bedding, hoover)
    Playdate with DS & friends
Finish filing in new calendar & hang

Lunch next and de-ice car to go on playdate!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Well I woke up with the best of intentions but that is about as far as I have got so far. I had to take my car to the garage first thing because the brakes were worn, not a good thing in this weather. Tried to pay with my credit card and it wouldn't let me so alarm bells went off in my head. The payment which goes out of my current account today has left there but not reached my credit card. Will give it until this afternoon and then try the bank.
Good news, I have had a message back from the lady from the Alzheimers Society, they have spaces left on the Ben Nevis trek and has urged us to send our forms in so we can get the date of our choice. I guess I need to work out how to set up and account with Just Giving and some sort of diary thing.
Will start flying soon I promise.

And not quite so enthusiastic about eating healthily but I will be having chocolate on Wednesday and at the weekend. And not on the other days. I normally have it every day so I feel this is a vast improvement.

IMHO you will find it harder this way, cold turkey is best. I am a chocoholic and years ago I decided to give it up for lent, my work mates bet I could not do this but after the first few days I found it easy. I was choc free for weeks after lent finished as I knew the second I ate chocolate I would eat several bars at once, which I did :rotfl:Now whilst I still love it I can just have a little bit and then leave it alone again.

Can someone please suggest a good way to tackle a slightly neglected gas hob? It is getting worse, I do most of my kitchen, but kinda close my eyes to the hob, I need help please.

After watching Kim and Aggie the other day a paste of bicarb and lemon juice or vinegar seemed to give quick and effective results.

Been busy here all morning dot2dotting with a degree of success :T have updated turbolister so I can fulfil my challenge. Am going to have a :coffee: now if anyone wants to join me.
