Thanks in advance guys

Any tips/hints for shopping at Aldi
Super 6 - fruit and veg - worth looking at as very often exceptionally good price compared with other shops
Price cards in red - seem to me to indicate when they are having a promotional price for the product which does return to the higher price for a long time afterwards
Pick up the colour brochure they have near the check-outs to see what they have coming up - and Paul's recipes0 -
I agree with anamenottaken, the super 6 is always worth checking out.and helpfully on this forum there's a thread which normally tells you what this weeks deal is as well.
other things i like at aldi-
apple and blackcurrant squash (think it's about 89p for 2l which is similar to tesco own but it's yummy IMO)
soya milk, especially as they seem to be selling alpro for only 79p just now
baking things eg flour/sultanas/spices
good quality dark chocolate
diet fizzy drinks, especially the lemon/lime cos it's really like 7-up free but only 49p for 2l
i've only just moved near ALDI so am trying things out so i'll be interested in what other people say.0 -
I really like Aldi and Lidl but never buy their breakfast cereals. They taste like multivitamin tablets.0

Shall pop in with oh... get some fruit and squash!!!
Will keep my eyes peeled

I stocked up on 1kg packets of fusilli pasta (special 100% extra free packs). You get a 2kg bag for 99p- bargain!0

l agree with caro100 pasta is good and cheap, l always get their cereal bars too they're currently on offer 89p for 6 (l think)
jars of pesto
coleslaw
lemon dusted yellowfin sole fillets in the freezer (actually l think that's Aldi but worth checking out too)
yoghurts are good too
and definitely the super 6

My kids reckon their baked beans are better than Heinz! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

The 400g packs of sandwich ham are £1.79 and are excellent as are their salami's etc, oaties biscuits (like hobnobs), shaving gel, liquid soap, shower gel, basmati rice, olive oil, tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, brown sauce and their potatoe wedges 69p for a huge bag. We haven't been disappointed as yet.0

Bit boring, but Aldi bin liners and black bags seem much stronger than other supermarket brands and a lot cheaper too.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
