    Evening all,

I am having possibly the worst day ever as it is freezing, I have a frozen pipe that when defrosted is likely to leak everywhere and as such I have no hot water or heating so can't wash or cook or anything.

So I am defecting to a friend's house at least for tongiht.

I hope you are all faring better than me

Oh no PP!! Hope it defrosts soon and leak free..

NSD for me again today :) One child at school, one off, even though it hasn't snowed for a couple of days now..
I'm at work tomorrow so no chance to spend again! Been a good week money wise! Especially as we've saved on dinner monies due to snow days lol.

    :heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:
  • Pointypenguin - that's rubbish! Hope it doesn't get any worse...

Declaring a NSD for me so I'm still within my weekly limit - £11/£15 so I have £4 to last me. Off to the fridge to see how exciting i can make tomorrow's lunch!

I have to say I am loving the snow even though I'm having to go to work. I am getting away with wearing wellies - and I love them! I look daft in my work clothes... but i don't care!

    Hope you're all staying warm
Proud to be dealing with my debt
  • Good evening everyone

Well so far this week things have been good, until today that is lol. I pledged £5 for this week and spent £3.45 of that today in Starbucks on the way home tonight, I needed the treat as it's cold, snowy, icy and miserable here and I'm tired of fighting my way into work and home again every night.

Hope everyone is keeping well and be careful and take care in this horrid weather.

    Cheers

I'm sorry to hear that Pointy!

I know this is of no use to you now, but for everyone else on this thread: The weather isn't too bad where I am, but it's pushing close to minus double figures where my elderly mother is, so I've told her to keep the heating on all the time, not only to keep her warm but hopefully that will prevent any pipes from freezing and bursting - I pay all her utility bills so at least she wont be worrying about not being able to afford to pay for the central heating!

Fortunately I know that about keeping the heating on, it is my dear downstairs neighbours that don't (I live in flats on the top floor). I am currently awaiting the plumber to give me a verdict on what can be done. I am just hoping it gets warmer soon.

Going to post my total as £6.45 for the week. I am not leaving the house until tmrw so no chance to spend any money.
I am also going to start taking my flask into school - save money on these coffees.

I am going to say £15.00 next week as I am at uni for the full week.

    Thanks PP for updating..
