Thanks and good look to everyone.Mortgage FreeSave £5,000 in 2020[CENTER:j0 -
Evening all,
Yesterday I spent £4.50 on canteen at work for breakfast and lunch. I was at work until 7.45pm due to work disaster so they provided dinner.(I ate all 3 meals at work yesterday how depressing is that)
I then went to stay with my friend who provided warmth and hot water along with half a bottle of wine and a good natter.
Today's spends were £3.30 on sandwich and water for lunch. Total for the week is £21.50 so I am green.
On the pipe front plumber says it is a frozen pipe and there is nothing that can be done, we just have to wait for it to defrost :mad:
I have managed to put my heating on as it is a closed systembut when I turn it off it is likely the pressure will be too low to put it back on so I am leaving it on for the time being and going to see what happens. I just want it to get warmer:rolleyes:

Today was a spend day as I bulked out my packed lunch with £1 on hummus and £2 on other supplies at a supermarket near where I work.
But I'm within my budget of £15 and declaring at the end of this working week that I spent
£14.00
This challenge definitely helped on the night I met up with my friend for a drink and a gossip earlier in the week. Normally I'd easily blow £30 on maybe a bottle between us and ordering food but this time I suggested we just met "for a drink" and I sipped more slowly on my wine and had a proper natter and gossip. No difference in the quality of our chat and catch up and I stayed within my weekly budget.
I'm looking forward to next week's challenge. I'm going for £15 again please : )Proud to be dealing with my debt0 -

I haven't been quite so good. Ran out of bread and milk so did not take lunch to work - big mistake - due to weather Son came to work so £11 in coffee shop for lunch for 2.
I did go to the supermarket on way home and spent £45 but if it stops £11 daily spends so be it!
Total for this week:93.86 / 40 ooops:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
As I now have groceries for week can I put next weeks target at £25 and I will be green!0
