Hi,
I've already confessed on Herewego's diary that I've had a busy and expensive weekend.
Friday - took dd's 1 and 2 out for a meal and some quality time;) The girls - bless them - paid for their own meals and we had a great time.
Saturday - went to a quiz to raise money for the kids school. Again had a great night but didn't know many answers
Today went out for a meal with family for mother's day and went to the dog racing. Would have been rude not to have a bet:rotfl: but we were good and set a budget before we left and didn't go over this - in fact think we may have some change cos we won the odd time.
As a result, I have done little to raise extra money other than check ebay for the things I listed last week. Made £52 from things I don't want:j Six months ago, I'd have given it away and to be honest, when I'm financially sorted, I will again but for now, I'm going to keep selling.:)
Other good news is that dh has been asked if he'll do a bit of work every other Saturday night and he'll get paid £60 a night, so not only will it bring a little extra money in but means me and the kids can have girly nights every other week :TProud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -
You may have had some spends but at least your aware of what your doing and we all need the odd treat. If you were like me 6 months ago it would just go on the cc and we wouldnt even think about it.
Sounds like you have had a good weekend, have you already got plans for DH extra cash, I know i would haveMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

At last it's the weekend. I've had a week full of drama (thankfully not financial!) and I'm ready for a rest!:D
Going to list 25 items on ebay - free listing day 20th and 21st.
Have given up with trying to convert dh, he's a lost cause. He questioned me this morning because he wanted to buy some phones for the house and I told him to wait for payday on Wednesday. Just told him to check our balance, workout the amount of dd's to be taken out between now and then and decide for himself if we can afford them, not going to do guilt trips anymore because he can't buy new boys toys!
However, we have had a really good quote for having part of drive tarmaced so need to find extra £400 to get this done! Better try and find a few more things to ebay :rotfl:
Have a good weekend everyone!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -

Oh Cialilerin - I think I know exactly what you mean. One step forward with my DH and five steps backwards:( - at least that's what it feels like. I checked the online balances tonight and was fuming to find several transactions totalling over £300 on one of our CCs - he had forgotten about them:mad:
I am fuming and will also need to list like mad on ebay to raise enough funds to wipe out this extra spending:mad::mad::mad::mad:NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

Dh only has a debit card which is for our joint account so I check it regularly. I have hidden all the cc's. We only have access to mine in case of emergency. Since we started getting to grips with our debts, I've only used it to pay car isurance as hope to pay that quickly and save the extra they charge if you pay monthly (at least that's the theory;))Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

Just requested transfer of £80 from paypal to my account, which will then go straight to cc!!
Have listed 5 things on ebay as well today - 20 to put on tomorrow (when I find them) Did take out dd no4's highchair to sell, which she promptly fell in love with again. Will have to take photo when she is asleep and then hide it!
Apart from this, I have had a long day, have not been too well recently but I have curbed the urge to spend to make me feel better so some progress being made!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120
