Im afraid to say your question is some what wooly to give you a straight answer.
For starters MP3's are audio and MP4's are video, an mp3 player will only play mp3 where as an mp4 player will play both, but of course will be a lot more expensive.
However.
It depends on several factors, how many tracks do you want on the player, how much are you willing to pay, are you a brand lover, do you jog about much at the gym or is it bikes and weights you concentrate on, do you want just music or videos too, are you fussed about a screen etc etc etc.
For instance you can buy a bog standard mp3 player from tesco for £9, this will hold approx 200 to 300 songs (1Gb), however it hasnt got a screen and doesnt have much of a brand name.
Some of the best mp3 players about tend to be made by creative zen, however i personally like labels and tend to stick to ipods.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
MP3 is a digital sound format while MP4 is for both sound and video.
Halfords is selling off some Sony music players, but stock is very limited now.
1GB Walkman for £7
2GB Walkman for £10
Click 'Check Stock In My Local Store'. If the five nearest to you are all out of stock, click 'Find A Store With Availabliliy'.0 -
I have used a Creative Zen and a stick-type MP3 player in the gym. The cheap stick ones are easiest as they come with a lanyard so you can hang around your neck to keep the player out of the way. Also they are cheaper when you damage them.
Currently I am using the CZ and have had to buy a silicone skin that allows me to clip the player to my waist band - even then it falls off when I am doing squats - very distracting lol.0 -
iPod shuffle perhaps? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Those look fine to me. I believe you can also get arm bands for these, even better than wearing around your neck.

Hi
There are several places to download paid-for music tracks from.
I'm sure that someone will suggest some.
But in the meantime, till you get that mp3 player, have you thought about 'ripping' some tracks from your own CDs?Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0
