Well done BB - at least you know what has caused it, was aware it might happen and have accepted it.

  • Well Done BB, that looks amazing!:T

    You are an inspiration.

I get weighed tomorrow and hope I ve lost some. Its my TOTM as well so I feel really bloated and Yeurghhh!

Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work.

I really need to stay on track because I go on hols in 3 weeks!! EEEK:o
  • yep, I'm fine with it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at all disappointed, of course I am but I know it's just a tiny part of the journey and it was expected. Last week and this week were always going to be about my holiday and making sure my body was a little more adjusted to eating different things.

It is weird though being on 1000 calories - feels like a feast of food!!!

    Well done everydody.
Dont let yourself get down BB, you had planned this and knew that this could be the effect of beginning to reintroduce 'proper' food before your holiday ( if I remember right:D). Consolidation until after your hols isnt a problem, you feeling good is the main thing.

yep, 100% the situation. Even losing 3 or 4 this week and then some next week wouldn't have made a huge difference to how I 'look' by a week on Tuesday.

I have mixed feelings about going on holiday. The thought of .....well......let's say I always have these feelings just before going away because although it is nice to relax, it's not the best 'situation' to be in for reasons you all know why and I'd rather some elements of going away were different.

STS this week. First time since starting CD. A bit disappointing, natural reaction, but it is because I've gone up to the 810 cal plan rather than eating something I shouldn't do and my body has grabbed those few extra calories. It's fine though. I am stepping up again to the 1000 cal plan this week because of going on holiday. I'm re-introducing a small amount of potato/pasta for this week so there's every chance I might even gain. Again, that's fine. I know it isn't 'real' weight as I'm still massively in deficit calorie wise and it's just my body waking up a bit.

when I stepped up on cd, my weight stayed the same but i still lost an inch on the waist and belly

Do they tell you what to eat for the 1000 calories or do you have to work it out yourself?

  • it's a plan in itself tenmah.

It is 2 CD products, some milk, some fruit, some salad and an evening meal from a set list.

Today - as an example, this is what I've had/will have

    Breakfast
    CD bar
    90 grams grapes

    Lunch
Small bowl of cucumber and watercress
    CD soup
    small banana (60 gram weight)

    Dinner
    200g new potatoes
    175g turkey breast
    3 tablespoons mushrooms
I'm going to stir fry it all together with some spices

and then some strawberries....another 50 calories worth. I still have another 50 calories for fruit I can 'spend'.
Half a pint of skimmed milk also each day.

I plan to have a shake at breakfast, take in weighed fruit to work (from a list) and little salad to much through the day, have a bar at lunch and then a dinner of chicken/turkey/tuna/omelette with some new potatoes or rice and some salad/veg from the list.

To me, this is now a lot of food! It's really changed my perceptions of amount. Pre-CD I would look at that lot and think - well, that's breakfast, what about the rest of the day :rotfl:
