    Hi

I have lost 1 LB this week - making a total of 3 Lbs (lost 10 and put it all back on  - it's like groundhog day ) this year Louise.

Quite determined to lose a serious amount of weight before the end of the year. I would love to finish the year at least half a stone down on the beginning.

    Good Luck hungry2.gif
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Its been very much like Groundhog day for me too Shaggy, at the very least though we are still mindful of our weight and want to do something about :) Well done on the loss this week:T

I can see that everyone is doing well again, we are over half way into this challenge now. Keep the kettle boiling everyone:j

As I suspected I have lost another 1lb this week (yesterday the scales said I had lost 2lbs but I ended up having 2 dinners last night as I was beyond peckish:o)

Mr J will weigh in tomorrow.

Its definitely starting to turn cold now, last night felt very autumnal. Time to start preparing lovely home made soups and casseroles which can be low fat, filling and healthy:)

Come on Lads and Lasses, lets get this weight shifted! We can do it!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I read that as bowels to be cleaned:rotfl::rotfl:

Yes I had 2 dinners, I made vegetable stir fry at 5pm and was absolutely starving at around 8pm so I warmed up some curry and rice:o I could have had 2 packets of crisps a wispa and some more biscuits so I thought the curry was the better option:D

  • Hello folks.

Not doing well here at all. Not exercising enough. and eating all the wrong stuff. have such heartburn:o and feel dreadful.

Weirdly my skin has been good though I think my spots are mostly caused by stress(bun? is that possible?)and that hasn't built up yet.

Any how decided that this starting tomorrow stuff is not working.

I am committing here to start eating 3 meals a day, drinking water, eating 5 fruits/vegs a day going to bed at 10.30 and getting up at 6.
From the 26.9.10 I will do my walking again. at least 6000 steps if not more. the 26 is 12 weeks and 6 days till Christmas.

tootired to read back tonight hope all is well xx
    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Morning everyone! Popping on to record a loss of 2.75lb this week, I'm well pleased. So having now completed my 6 week initial training programme at the gym, have lost a total of 9lb. I feel so much better and am really enjoying my trips to the gym. And hubby and I have stopped snacking in the evening, I'm sure that's made a huge difference. Let's hope I can keep up my two visits per week cos I start a new full time job this week. Have a lovely Sunday everyone xx

    morning all.......

5 pounds off for me this week. Very pleased with that to be honest. 79 pounds overall / 5 stone 9....and I've hit my challenge target of 28 pounds. Moving on to the 810 plan this week as a step towards my holiday. There are lots of little 'achievements' I could have before my holiday so not losing a total of 6 stone in next 2 weigh ins would be fine and so I'd pleased because:

1 pound in next two weeks: 80 pound loss
2 pound loss: takes me into the next stone on the scales
5 pound loss: 6 stone loss

Any loss is now weight 'in reserve' for gaining back on my holiday to stay as close to my 28 pound goal I set for the end of the challenge. I get back on the 16th as it ends on the 17th so it will be an interesting weigh in that Sunday!!

I've lost another half inch off my waist, so 8 inches in total and I've broken a really important BMI related barrier today which was one of my big intial goals.
