She is here now Beanie, seems very stressed at the minute and meowing ALOT. She is 14 and has had 2 different homes in the last year as her owner had to go into a home, then his daughter couldnt keep her as her own cat wouldnt accept her.

She will be spoilt rotten here though, I just couldnt stand the thought of her going to a re-homing centre when people would just walk past her because of her age.

  • Hi everyone,

Some amazing losses on here and i'm really impressed with all of those doing the shred. I can imagine how difficult it is from how she used to make people work out on the biggest loser.

They say no pain, no gain, but that certainly didn't apply to putting the weight on!:rotfl:

I've lost 19lb in total now and would like to set another target of 12lb for the next one please Lou.

    Good luck everyone

    Thanks
    Janey

Hey Lou just wanted to say thanks for running our group & keeping on top of the weightloss tracker! Hugs!

Right thinking about the next 10 weeks my target will be a 10lb loss

Also I just realised after this 10 week challenge is finished, the next 10 week challenge will lead us right up to christmas day hohoho :santa2::snow_laug:xmassmile
  • I've not posted for a few weeks but have been doing OK and have a 4 1/2 lb loss to report.

The 10 week challenge pretty much takes me up to my holiday which is ideal. I'm going to go for 15 lbs as my target.

    Good luck to all.

    Good morning everyone:j

We got back home yesterday and after a 14 hour sleep last night I feel human again almost.

I promise to fully update the spreadsheet by tonight and re-set a new challenge. Are 10 week blocks good for everyone? Don't forget you can just plod along too without joining in the smaller challenges.

I surveyed the damage this morning and I am amazed that I have only managed to put on 3lbs, MrJ has put on 5.5lbs.

Back to being sensible from today and back to the daily walks.

We had such a lovely time but didnt go completely mental food wise. Everyday we had a normal breakfast in the villa and then our lunch out but rarely ate dinner out except for a visit to Planet Hollywood and the Cheesecake factory.

Glad to be back home though, we pick up the cat that we have adopted today (Tabitha) and cant wait:j

Glad to hear you had a good holiday and hope that Tabitha settles down soon. 10 weeks suits me too, although just 2 x 10 week blocks until Christmas is a bit scary!
If I'd managed my target of 14lbs loss I would have asked to go for another 14lbs over the next 10 weeks - nice round numbers and all that! So I'm not sure whether to set my target as 19lbs (the 5lb left from this time + another 14) or as just 14lbs. Any thoughts from those who have been losing weight for a bit, I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to sensible weight loss (although I have lots of experience at putting it on...)
