  • Work has been really manic this week, I think I've done about 40 hours which wouldn't be so bad except I'm paid for 22.5. It also has bad effects on me - craving for chocolate when I'm so zonked (I gave in one day, at a conference - 5 pieces of chocolate brownie  ), only one swim and no other exercise, not even a stroll at lunchtime (no lunchbreak). So I have STS :wall:
Today looks like loads of catching up washing, hoovering etc and then the theatre tonight :D

Hope everyone else is doing better

CBM, I know exactly how you feel when you are worked off your feet planning healthy eating can be a majoy hassle. Hopefully things should calm down for you at work and you can get on top of things again.

BB, how has this week been? Still OK?

Glad you are feeling a bit better Jinks.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

My new year resolution fell by the wayside but I am back on track. I must admit that the beginning of the this year has been particularly difficult for my business. Dieting has not been my top priority, saving my business was.

The business is back on track and I am back on a diet.

I was in a book shop last week and picked up Waist Disposal a book aimed for men. I did not buy it, I merely flicked through it. After all, it is not like I don't know what should be done to lose weight: eat less and exercise more! The diet in that book is based on low carb diet. This is somewhat difficult at home as Mrs Meromanche is Japanese and rice is the basis of our diet. Mrs Meromanche also likes Italian cooking so pasta is also very much part of our diet...
I must also admit to working late and eating my dinner mostly aroound 9pm. You can imagine what a full plate of rice or pasta does to me a few hours before going to bed...

Anyway low carb diet here I come.

I started on again on the 4th of July, I was 115.8Kg.

What is the weigh in day on the board?

    hunky dory Lou :D

Lamarsi - to say bugger (and other such ruderies! ) click on Go Advanced when you want to reply and change one of the middle letters to the black colour from the palette. The code for that shade of black is slightly different to the standard black used in posts and it breaks the word up so the filter doesn't think it's a swear word ;)
